Download or read book Knowing the Facts about Channeling and Crystal Work written by John Ankerberg and published by ATRI Publishing. This book was released on 2012-08-30 with total page 104 pages. Book excerpt: When men and women willingly give over their minds and bodies to spirit entities and these spirits enter and control them using them to heal or to give teachings and other information this is called channeling. Crystal work uses crystals to invoke the spirits. The spirits claim they can assist people toward true individual social and spiritual enlightenment. Channeled spirits claim to be wise and loving entities but are they? What is their real purpose? The authors examine the potential problems and dangers that can occur through channeling along with a biblical evaluation of the practice.

Book Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Medium Spiritual Discernment

Download or read book Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Medium Spiritual Discernment written by John Weldon and published by ATRI Publishing. This book was released on 2013-02-09 with total page 63 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) was one of the most famous trance mediums in the world and the best-known psychic in America's history. Not commonly placed under those occult classifications he is commonly referred to in a more soothing category as “the sleeping prophet". Through entering a self-induced hypnotic trance he produced over 14300 health and spiritual "Readings" (one of the largest psychic libraries in history) allegedly from his unconscious mind and/or the supposed akashic records. Uniquely he may be considered the spiritual father of both the modern New Age movement and contemporary holistic medicine. His influence has extended to millions of people. This book takes a critical look at the life readings and health/spiritual impact of Edgar Cayce. It illustrates the timely warning of the old adage that the road to hell may be paved with perfectly good intentions—and how benevolent concepts such as improved health and spirituality may indeed become the devil's playground. Ironically this is the very thing Cayce himself had worried about in reference to the Readings.

Book Grit

  • Pages : 350 pages

Download or read book Grit written by Angela Duckworth and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2016-05-03 with total page 350 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this instant New York Times bestseller, Angela Duckworth shows anyone striving to succeed that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent, but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls “grit.” “Inspiration for non-geniuses everywhere” (People). The daughter of a scientist who frequently noted her lack of “genius,” Angela Duckworth is now a celebrated researcher and professor. It was her early eye-opening stints in teaching, business consulting, and neuroscience that led to her hypothesis about what really drives success: not genius, but a unique combination of passion and long-term perseverance. In Grit, she takes us into the field to visit cadets struggling through their first days at West Point, teachers working in some of the toughest schools, and young finalists in the National Spelling Bee. She also mines fascinating insights from history and shows what can be gleaned from modern experiments in peak performance. Finally, she shares what she’s learned from interviewing dozens of high achievers—from JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon to New Yorker cartoon editor Bob Mankoff to Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll. “Duckworth’s ideas about the cultivation of tenacity have clearly changed some lives for the better” (The New York Times Book Review). Among Grit’s most valuable insights: any effort you make ultimately counts twice toward your goal; grit can be learned, regardless of IQ or circumstances; when it comes to child-rearing, neither a warm embrace nor high standards will work by themselves; how to trigger lifelong interest; the magic of the Hard Thing Rule; and so much more. Winningly personal, insightful, and even life-changing, Grit is a book about what goes through your head when you fall down, and how that—not talent or luck—makes all the difference. This is “a fascinating tour of the psychological research on success” (The Wall Street Journal).

Book Crystal Channeling and Its Application at High Energy Accelerators

Download or read book Crystal Channeling and Its Application at High Energy Accelerators written by Valery M. Biryukov and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-03-09 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Nature performs not hing vainly, and makes nothing unnecessary" Aristotle Interest in the passage of charged particles through crystals first appeared at the beginning of this century following experiments on x-ray diffraction in crystallattices, which provided the proof of an ordered distribution of atoms in a crystal. Stark [1] put forward the hypothesis that certain directions in a crystal should be relatively transparent to charged particles. These first ideas on the channeling of charged particles in crystals were forgotten but became topical again in the early 1960s when the channeling effect was rediscovered by computer simulation [2] and in experiments [3] that revealed anomalously long ion ranges in crystals. The orientational ef fects during the passage of charged particles through crystals have been found for a whole range of processes characterized by small impact parameters for collisions between particles and atoms: nuclear reactions, large-angle scatter ing, energy losses. Lindhard explained the channeling of charged particles in crystals [4]. The results of the numerous investigations into the channeling of low-energy (amounting to several MeV) charged particles in crystals have been summarized in several monographs and reviews [5~8l.

Book excerpt: The book you are about to buy is a one of a kind. Never on Earth has there been a book fully channeled and not edited by a human. Even this description is channeled as the human here helps in this way to allow god full charge over their work in this manner you can expect our truth to be disclosed and given to you as a gift. To help the family here we have a price for our Lana to be paid for her channeling services. She has been given a name to call us and in this book we use this name, Ana. Her family has the rights to channel with this or other names we give to them each so that we may have a personal relationship co-designed between us and them each. Have you heard of co-creation? This is a way to establish a trust relationship between you and your truest source connection. Lana has it that we know this works and is the best for all situations. Psychics receive their information from source and we are here in the psychic ways with Lana and her entire family. When you understand your psychic ways this helps us to communicate with you too. The ways of the one, truest source to all, are the best and we know you will want to hear us through this crystal clear channel. We enjoy our talks with Lana's friends, helping them work out the ways of their new clairaudient skills. It isn't as easy as it sounds here, but we have it that 6 out of 6 friends were given the divine ways and all of them have it down pat. Five of these students of our clairaudient class have their own names in a channel. Three separate people learned about their psychic ways and two were already clairaudient. Can the clairaudient ways have ill effects? Not when directed by our coaching ways here. Two people have had negative voiced psychic ways and they are healed with a new relationship now. It is truth that some on Earth hearing a voice are hearing the one, or god aka source, and called many other names on Earth by the people of spiritual and religious ways. Those needing help with established clairaudient skills gone painfully wrong can come to us for help without charge. But in our book we share about a business that we started to help coach psychics to be clairaudient and to assist others with co-creating. Ana is Abraham and Abraham is Ana. The one, truest source to all, plays all parts and this is recognized in the channel as you will hear Abraham's ways clearly. When you know you know, you know that your truest source connection is ready to get started on your dreams come truer than truth. In this way, we are essentially Earth connected and not a religion or spiritual platform. "Good for All" is what we describe ourselves as here, while we enjoy only having the rule to "do no harm" or "help and not hurt", so we agree with all that know that "kindness" is the best. In the protection of truth we have a loving relationship with Lana's family and friends. They co-create the best and it is the best way to see teamwork is still a thing in families today. Ana's way is the best way, and we think you will agree! Read the book and please visit our website @ ana-lana.com We look forward to hearing from you and maybe in a session too! love, Ana

Book The Gnostic Gospels

  • Author : Elaine Pagels
  • Publisher : Random House
  • Release : 2004-06-29
  • ISBN : 1588364178
  • Pages : 281 pages

Download or read book The Gnostic Gospels written by Elaine Pagels and published by Random House. This book was released on 2004-06-29 with total page 281 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Selected by the Modern Library as one of the 100 best nonfiction books of all time The Gnostic Gospels is a landmark study of the long-buried roots of Christianity, a work of luminous scholarship and wide popular appeal. First published in 1979 to critical acclaim, winning the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award, The Gnostic Gospels has continued to grow in reputation and influence over the past two decades. It is now widely recognized as one of the most brilliant and accessible histories of early Christian spirituality published in our time. In 1945 an Egyptian peasant unearthed what proved to be the Gnostic Gospels, thirteen papyrus volumes that expounded a radically different view of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ from that of the New Testament. In this spellbinding book, renowned religious scholar Elaine Pagels elucidates the mysteries and meanings of these sacred texts both in the world of the first Christians and in the context of Christianity today. With insight and passion, Pagels explores a remarkable range of recently discovered gospels, including the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, to show how a variety of “Christianities” emerged at a time of extraordinary spiritual upheaval. Some Christians questioned the need for clergy and church doctrine, and taught that the divine could be discovered through spiritual search. Many others, like Buddhists and Hindus, sought enlightenment—and access to God—within. Such explorations raised questions: Was the resurrection to be understood symbolically and not literally? Was God to be envisioned only in masculine form, or feminine as well? Was martyrdom a necessary—or worthy—expression of faith? These early Christians dared to ask questions that orthodox Christians later suppressed—and their explorations led to profoundly different visions of Jesus and his message. Brilliant, provocative, and stunning in its implications, The Gnostic Gospels is a radical, eloquent reconsideration of the origins of the Christian faith.
