This book was released on 1998 with total page 207 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2002 with total page 171 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: L'ECOULEMENT EN CANAL PLAN TOURNANT EST ETUDIE PAR SIMULATION NUMERIQUE DIRECTE ET DES GRANDES ECHELLES. DANS CE BUT, UN CODE RESOLVANT LES ECOULEMENTS DE NAVIER-STOKES INCOMPRESSIBLES EST DEVELOPPE, EN APPORTANT UN SOIN PARTICULIER A LA PRECISION DES METHODES NUMERIQUES UTILISEES. DANS LE CADRE DE LA SIMULATION DES GRANDES ECHELLES, UNE CORRECTION DU MODELE SOUS-MAILLE A VISCOSITE TURBULENTE SPECTRALE EST PROPOSEE. CETTE MODIFICATION CONSISTE A PRENDRE EN COMPTE LES ECARTS DU SPECTRE D'ENERGIE PAR RAPPORT A UN SPECTRE DE KOLMOGOROV. L'ETUDE PREALABLE DE L'ECOULEMENT EN CANAL EN L'ABSENCE DE ROTATION DEMONTRE L'INTERET DE LA CORRECTION DU MODELE, EN PERMETTANT UNE AMELIORATION NETTE DES RESULTATS STATISTIQUES. LES OUTILS NUMERIQUES AINSI DEVELOPPES PERMETTENT ALORS D'ETUDIER L'INFLUENCE D'UNE ROTATION SOLIDE (D'AXE PARALLELE A L'ENVERGURE) SUR LA STRUCTURE DE LA TURBULENCE DANS L'ECOULEMENT EN CANAL. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS, LES EFFETS DE LA ROTATION SUR LES MECANISMES DE TRANSITION A LA TURBULENCE SONT EXAMINES. SELON LE TAUX DE ROTATION CONSIDERE, TROIS TYPES DE TRANSITION SONT ALORS IDENTIFIES. EN PARTICULIER, IL EST MONTRE QUE LES HAUTS REGIMES DE ROTATION VONT JUSQU'A EMPECHER TOUTE TRIDIMENSIONNALISATION DE L'ECOULEMENT. ENFIN, UNE PARTIE IMPORTANTE DE CET OUVRAGE EST CONSACREE A L'ETUDE DU CANAL PLAN TOURNANT EN SITUATION DE TURBULENCE PLEINEMENT DEVELOPPEE. UNE LARGE GAMME DE TAUX DE ROTATION EST CONSIDEREE. UNE ATTENTION PARTICULIERE EST PORTEE SUR LA DYNAMIQUE DE LA VORTICITE ABSOLUE, QUI EST CARACTERISEE A L'AIDE DE VISUALISATIONS GRAPHIQUES ET PAR L'ANALYSE STATISTIQUE DES TERMES PREPONDERANTS DANS L'EQUATION DE LA VORTICITE ABSOLUE. IL EST ALORS MIS EN EVIDENCE UN ETIREMENT LONGITUDINAL IMPORTANT DE LA VORTICITE ABSOLUE, EN PARTICULIER DANS LA REGION (LOIN DES PAROIS) OU SE DEVELOPPE UNE ZONE DE VORTICITE ABSOLUE NULLE. CONCERNANT LA DYNAMIQUE DE PROCHE PAROI, L'ACTION INHIBITRICE D'UNE FORTE ROTATION SUR LA FORMATION DES COURANTS DE HAUTE ET BASSE VITESSE EST EGALEMENT ETUDIEE

Book Direct and Large Eddy Simulation XI

Download or read book Direct and Large Eddy Simulation XI written by Maria Vittoria Salvetti and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-02-02 with total page 562 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book gathers the proceedings of the 11th workshop on Direct and Large Eddy Simulation (DLES), which was held in Pisa, Italy in May 2017. The event focused on modern techniques for simulating turbulent flows based on the partial or full resolution of the instantaneous turbulent flow structures, as Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS), Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) or hybrid models based on a combination of LES and RANS approaches. In light of the growing capacities of modern computers, these approaches have been gaining more and more interest over the years and will undoubtedly be developed and applied further. The workshop offered a unique opportunity to establish a state-of-the-art of DNS, LES and related techniques for the computation and modeling of turbulent and transitional flows and to discuss about recent advances and applications. This volume contains most of the contributed papers, which were submitted and further reviewed for publication. They cover advances in computational techniques, SGS modeling, boundary conditions, post-processing and data analysis, and applications in several fields, namely multiphase and reactive flows, convection and heat transfer, compressible flows, aerodynamics of airfoils and wings, bluff-body and separated flows, internal flows and wall turbulence and other complex flows.
