Book On the People s Democratic Revolution

Download or read book On the People s Democratic Revolution written by José Maria Sison and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2021-10-06 with total page 514 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: On the People's Democratic Revolution explains the basic concepts and the instruments for achieving the Philippine revolution. The program of the people's democratic revolution seeks to realize the basic demands of the people in the political, economic, social and cultural fields in opposition to the semicolonial and semifeudal ruling system of big compradors, landlords and bureaucrat capitalists subservient to foreign monopoly capitalism. The Filipino people and their revolutionary forces have persevered in carrying out the new democratic revolution for more than half a century. They cannot accept the escalating conditions of oppression and exploitation under the semicolonial and semifeudal ruling system in chronic crisis. Sounding stronger than the psywar and gunfire of the oppressors and exploiters is the outcry of the people for national liberation, democracy, social justice and all-round development amid the worsening crises of the semicolonial and semifeudal ruling system and the world capitalist system. About the Author Jose Maria Sison led the reestablishment of the Communist Party of the Philippines in 1968 and the founding of the New People's Army in 1969. He is now among the world's most outstanding theoreticians in Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. He continues to do research and write on Philippine and global issues. About the Series: The International Network for Philippine Studies (INPS) is proud to present the fourth book of the Sison Reader Series, On the People;s Democratic Revolution. This will be followed by three successive volumes on the Communist Party of the Philippines, On the New People's Army and on the National Democratic Front of the Philippines, under the following titles: On the Communist Party of the Philippines, On Protracted People's War and On the United Front; all scheduled to be published within the last quarter of 2021.

Book Two Tactics of Social democracy in the Democratic Revolution

Download or read book Two Tactics of Social democracy in the Democratic Revolution written by Vladimir Ilʹich Lenin and published by . This book was released on 1935 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Written in June and July 1905, Lenin here set forth his basic views on the bourgeois revolution in Russia, on which serious differences had developed with the Mensheviks. The revolution was then in progress, and Lenin felt the need for a clear understanding of the character and driving forces of that revolution, the role of the working class in it, the revolutionary prospects, and the tactics arising from this analysis. Here is developed in full the concept of the revolutionary democratic government of the proletariat and the peasantry and the path of transition from the bourgeois democratic to the socialist revolution. The views elucidated in this work were followed by the Bolsheviks in the Russian Revolution of 1905-1907, which Lenin later called the "dress rehearsal" for the Revolution of 1917. To help the reader understand Lenin's numerous references to the events and personages of the time and his historical comparisons, explanatory notes have been supplied by the editors.

Book China and the People s Democratic Republic of Yemen

Download or read book China and the People s Democratic Republic of Yemen written by Hashim S.H. Behbehani and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-07-26 with total page 98 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report, first published in 1985, was compiled by members of the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen) and is an interesting historical document. Because of the PDRY’s own political orientation the leadership, when it came to power, sought help, advice and assistance from other Communist governments. Among these was China. By historical coincidence that country at the time of the PDRY’s delegation visit was engulfed in what we know as the Cultural Revolution. Very few official foreign delegations were received by the Chinese at the time and so this report becomes doubly interesting as it sheds a fascinating light on the political situation in both countries at that time. More importantly, it represents one of the rare pieces of published material on China and the Arab World

He has since consolidated his influence in the Parliament, and has become one of the country's most powerful and controversial politicians. In this book, Khasbulatov presents his views on Russian politics before the coup, offers a vivid first-hand account of the resistance to the coup, and concludes with his views on the problem of power in the new Russia. He provides a unique insight into the development of Russia from communism to embryonic democracy and an unparalleled insider's account of some of the most momentous events of the late twentieth century.

Book excerpt: For the Western world as a whole, the period from about 1760 to 1800 was the great revolutionary era in which the outlines of the modern democratic state came into being. It is the thesis of this major work that the American, French, and Polish revolutions, and the movements for political change in Britain, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, and other countries, though each distinctive in its own way, were all manifestations of recognizably similar political ideas, needs, and conflicts.

This book was released on 2021-07-13 with total page 600 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For the Western world as a whole, the period from about 1760 to 1800 was the great revolutionary era in which the outlines of the modern democratic state came into being. It is the thesis of this major work that the American, French, and Polish revolutions, and the movements for political change in Britain, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, and other countries, although each distinctive in its way, were all manifestations of recognizably similar political ideas, needs, and conflicts. Volume 1 of this distinguished two-volume work, "The Challenge," received critical accolades throughout the world. It was the winner of the Bancroft Prize in 1960 and was called "one of the classic works of American historical scholarship" (Key Reporter) and a book which "will enlarge and clarify our understanding of modern Western history. It will re-emphasize the strength and vitality of the roots that supported the growth of democracy in the Old and New Worlds" (New York Times). "Occasionally a historical work appears which, by synthesis of much previous specialized work and by intelligent reflection upon the whole, makes events of the past click into a new pattern and assume fresh meaning. Professor Palmer's book is such a work" (American Historical Review). "The Challenge" took the story to the eve of the French Revolutionary wars; Volume 2, "The Struggle" continues the account to 1800.
