Así comienzan estas letras, que fueron primero, palabras dirigidas a un público ávido de las claves que abrieran el gongorino discurso del maestro. En estilo llano que no se iguala a lo sencillo –como dijera Borges, sería nada–, ofrece en fórmula simple el resultado de un arduo recorrido por textos, enseñanzas y una práctica de años en la escucha y la conducción de la cura. A lo simple lo subtiende una lógica y es ella la que hace grata esta propuesta. Apertura del pensamiento que invita: el analista es aquel que sostiene su práctica y de ella hace su reflexión. Que no desdeña tiempos y articulaciones que enriquecen el sendero: de la metáfora paterna al Sinthome, que muestra su contingente fracaso y su posible remedio; de las lecturas retroactivas de los grandes historiales freudianos, a ejemplos actuales de su experiencia, el autor muestra en acto una posición: “no hay progreso” como afirmara Lacan, no siempre lo mejor sigue a lo anterior, no hay ganancia que no implique una pérdida. En tiempos de rechazo del Inconciente –una vez más–, ahora desde el corazón del psicoanálisis, en quienes antes centraban todo en el fantasma y hoy lo excluyen por “una clínica sin fantasma”, estas páginas rescatan y relanzan los valiosos aportes de una disciplina que, más allá de los fenómenos de masa, de sujeción al líder de turno y a su efecto sugestivo, ofrece el testimonio de una experiencia que en más de cien años ha sabido responder a sus inevitables rechazos: con la verdad nadie quiere esponsales, aún menos cuando dice de los encuentros y desencuentros con lo Real. Como lo dijera en la Introducción de este libro, José Zuberman nos acerca, con palabras amigables, a las preguntas que promueven sus letras para las aceptadas lecturas diferentes.
