This book was released on 1987 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NOTRE OBJECTIF ICI EST D'ANALYSER LA DIMENSION STRATEGIQUE QUE REPRESENTE LA TECHNOLOGIE POUR LES FIRMES AGRO-ALIMENTAIRES DES PAYS INDUSTRIALISES. NOTAMMENT DANS LEURS RAPPORTS AVEC CELLES DES PAYS EN VOIE DE DEVELOPPEMENT, EN PARTICULIER LE MAROC ET LA TUNISIE QUE NOUS AVONS CHOISI POUR LE BESOIN DE NOTRE RECHERCHE. IL S'AGIT POUR NOUS DE DEMONTRER QUE L'ETENDUE DES BESOINS TECHNOLOGIQUES DES PAYS EN VOIE DE DEVELOPPEMENT, DANS LE DOMAINE DE L'AGRO-ALIMENTAIRE, EST A L'ORIGINE DU RECOURS DE NOMBREUSES FIRMES DE CES PAYS A LA COOPERATION INDUSTRIELLE POUR LA CONCEPTION ET LA REALISATION DE PROJETS INDISPENSABLES A LEUR DEVELOPPEMENT. CECI NOUS PERMETTRA D'EVALUER EN MEME TEMPS LE ROLE ET LA PLACE DE TRANSFERT DE TECHNOLOGIE ET DE SAVOIR-FAIRE DANS LA STRATEGIE DES FIRMES EMETTRICES ET SON IMPACT SUR LEUR EXPANSION. A TRAVERS L'ETUDE DE QUELQUES EXPERIENCES DE TRANSFERT DE TECHNOLOGIE ET DE SAVOIR-FAIRE MENEES AU MAGHREB PAR DES FIRMES AGROALIMENTAIRES FRANCAISES OU EUROPEENNES, IL NOUS SERA POSSIBLE EN EFFET D'IDENTIFIER LES DIFFERENTS PROBLEMES PRATIQUES RENCONTRES AINSI QUE LES DIFFICULTES MARQUANT CES RELATIONS DE COOPERATION INDUSTRIELLE. DES LORS, IL CONVIENDRA DE NOUS INTERROGER SUR L'EFFICACITE ET L'OPPORTUNITE DE LA FONCTION "TRANSFERT DE TECHNOLOGIE ET DE SAVOIR-FAIRE"POUR CE QUI EST DE: LA FORMATION DU PERSONNEL ; L'ADAPTATION DES TECHNIQUES (PROBLEMES DE CHOIX DES PROCEDES) ; L'ADAPTATION DES PRESTATIONS TECHNOLOGIQUES ; ETC... ENFIN, VU LES DIVERGENCES ACTUELLES DES INTERETS DES PARTENAIRES, NOTRE TRAVAIL A POUR MODESTE AMBITION DE METTRE EN LUMIERE LES CONDITIONS DE DEPASSEMENTS DES PROBLEMES RENCONTRES ET DE REFLECHIR SUR DES NOUVELLES MODALITES DE TRANSFERT DE TECHNOLOGIE ET DE SAVOIR-FAIRE ; MODALITES QUI SERAIENT L'ABOUTISSEMENT DE RELATIONS PLUS ELABOREES EN FONCTION DES CARACTERISTIQUES DES CONTRATS ET IMPLIQUERAIENT AINSI DES PRATIQUES CONCERTEES, CONTRAIREMENT AUX CONDUITES D'AFFRONTEMENT ACTUELLES.

Book Good Practice for the Small scale Production of Bottled Coconut Water

Download or read book Good Practice for the Small scale Production of Bottled Coconut Water written by Rosa Sonya Rolle and published by Food & Agriculture Org.. This book was released on 2007 with total page 52 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nature provides an ideal sterile package for coconut water in the form of the intact coconut. However, on cutting through the coconut, the coconut water is exposed to the elements and rapidly deteriorates. Application of the cold preservation process described in this guide can slow this rapid deterioration while preserving the delicate flavour of the product. In this manner bottled coconut water, when stored at 0 ̊-4 ̊ C, can have a shelf-life of 10 days to three weeks. This guide is designed to serve as a learning resource for micro and small-scale enterprises which bottle coconut water as well as a training resource for extension agents and trainers.

Book Water Heritage

Download or read book Water Heritage written by Willem Willems and published by . This book was released on 2017-01-15 with total page 434 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Water is vital for life, and its availability has been a concern for mankind throughout the ages. Its presence has always been ascertained in a variety of ways and the development of human society everywhere is connected with various forms of water management. Man also needed to manage water to find protection from its dangers and the need for that is increasing. In the coming decades, the impact of climate change is expected to intensify floods and droughts, affect groundwater resources, raise sea levels, increase pollution and enhance the frequency and magnitude of disasters. Societies around the world are challenged to adapt to these threats to ensure water security, economic prosperity and environmental and cultural sustainability. This book deals with the heritage of water management and the use that was made of water, as well as the impact of water management on heritage. An example of the former may be an ancient irrigation system in the Filipines or in the Middle East that still functions today, while the latter may reflect the importance of maintaining groundwater levels for the preservation of organic remains on archaeological sites or of wooden piles underneath standing buildings. In either case the papers in this book reflect the dynamic nature of water, and hence the equally dynamic relation between water management and heritage. This publication follows up on a Heritage and Water conference in Amsterdam, the first of its kind. Its main purpose is to credibly present the importance and value of heritage and historical experience for water and sustainable development, and vice versa, present the importance of water management for the protection of heritage. It presents evolving insights and concepts about Water and about Heritage from a variety of disciplines, policy and public perspectives illustrated with cases studies and aims to connect decision makers with experts such as engineers, archaeologists, historians, geographers, ecologist and landscape architects

Organized by the REHSEIS group (Research on Epistemology and History of Exact Sciences and Scientific Institutions) of CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), the colloquium was held from 3 to 6 April 1990 in the UNESCO building in Paris. This colloquium was an idea of Professor Roshdi Rashed who initiated this field of studies in France some years ago, and proposed "Sciences and Empires" as one of the main research programmes for the The project to organize such a colloquium was a bit REHSEIS group. of a gamble. Its subject, reflected in the title "Sciences and Empires", is not a currently-accepted sub-discipline of the history of science; rather, it refers to a set of questions which found autonomy only recently. The terminology was strongly debated by the participants and, as is frequently suggested in this book, awaits fuller clarification.

Book Agroclimatology

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Can we unlock resilience to climate stress by better understanding linkages between the environment and biological systems? Agroclimatology allows us to explore how different processes determine plant response to climate and how climate drives the distribution of crops and their productivity. Editors Jerry L. Hatfield, Mannava V.K. Sivakumar, and John H. Prueger have taken a comprehensive view of agroclimatology to assist and challenge researchers in this important area of study. Major themes include: principles of energy exchange and climatology, understanding climate change and agriculture, linkages of specific biological systems to climatology, the context of pests and diseases, methods of agroclimatology, and the application of agroclimatic principles to problem-solving in agriculture.
