He immigrated to America in the early part of the 18th century and settled in Bucks Co., Pa., probably somewhere in Bedminster Township. In 1736 he married Agnes (1713-1786). Both are buried at the old Mennonite graveyard at Deep Run, Bucks Co., Pa. Agnes married for her second husband pioneer William Nash, as his third wife. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.

Abraham Martin (1828-1907) was born in Salisbury Township, Lancaster Co., Pa, near Hersheys Church. He married (1) Susanna (1828-1851), daughter of Jonas Burkholder, in 1849. They had one surviving son. He married (2) Barbara Wenger (1829-1906) in 1852. They were parents of fourteen children. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Maryland and elsewhere, and are members of the Mennonite Church.
