Book Exploits Of The Wizard Of Black Africa

Download or read book Exploits Of The Wizard Of Black Africa written by Uzoma Kenneth Anyikwa and published by . This book was released on 2020-02-13 with total page 118 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author believes super heroes are real and his remarkable thinking ability makes him one of them. He is the wizard of the African soil. He is not to be underrated. He solved lots of riddles using many ancient African terminologies. High five goes to science as the wizard of the African soil suddenly surrenders to its account about the origin of Man in cold shiver. Perhaps, Africans should not underrate science because it seems to know where it is heading, and at the same time, No one should underrate the scriptures because the wizard of the black Africa is full of wonders, but the bible calls him a little boy. Most riddles in the bible aren't what you think. "7" as it is used in the bible, talks about war arm coming from "above"(The executing force of heaven/Angels), this is why we have rev chapter 12 vs."7" (the part talking about the war in heaven) "7" heads of the dragon, "7" spirits of God etc. "12" as it is used in the bible symbolizes "chosen ones" that's why we have "12" disciples, "12" tribes of Israel, "12" sons of Jacob. "24" as it is used means all chosen ones both Christians and non Christians, that's why we have the "24" elders, "24" thrones: Religious discrimination made Us so blind and unable to understand that all positive religion on earth came from the same God (Lolz! relax, the wizard will explain what the "24 elders" stand for in details and with facts. You don't know, do you?) "6" stands for the "Open world" or "the human society" and Trinity "3" reveals the composition of God (three persons in one God) and the composition of the enemy of human. 6+3= "666" (Ouch!! The mark of the beast is never never never what you think. Hahahahahahaha!! Relax this Wizard of the black Africa will explain its meaning with FACTS) THE EAST as it us used in book of revelation stands for "Angle or zone of control" which means the bible is trying to reveal that the east is in war with the great foe of God and humanity..."No wonder the Christ was born in the "middle east" and no wonder most countries of the middle east fight a lot. The wizard himself is also from the east- that tribe in Nigeria that seeks freedom. They fought a war and were defeated (the wizard can also explain in facts why that war was lost, and why the war must be lost). The wizard even became "scared of himself". Why is it that every thing about him is connected with the Number "7" (even"12""east""3""6"). He was born at exactly " 12" O'clock in the "7th" month in the family of 7...born in the north but relocated to the east (zone of control which is at war) when he was "7"(war arms from above) the address mysteriously being "N0. 6"when it is the "3rd"(3) building in the street...etc. Some details about him and his exploits are put down in this book. He is real.

Book excerpt: A foreign correspondent’s chronicle of the Ugandan warlord and his Lord’s Resistance Army of abducted child soldiers: “a readable and compelling account” (Independent, UK). Somewhere in the jungles of Uganda, there hides a fugitive rebel leader: he is said to take his orders directly from the spirit world and, together with his ragged army of brutalized child soldiers, he has left a bloody trail of devastation across his country. Joseph Kony is now an internationally wanted criminal, and yet nobody really knows who he is or what he is fighting for. To get the truth behind the rumors and myths, Matthew Green ventures into the war zone, meeting the victims, the peacemakers and the regional powerbrokers as he tracks down the man himself. The Wizard of the Nile is the first book to peel back the layers of mysticism and murky politics surrounding Kony, to shine a searching light onto this forgotten conflict, and to tell the gripping human story behind an inhumane war and a humanitarian crisis. Winner of the Jerwood Award Long-listed for the Orwell Prize

Book The Wizard of Africa

Download or read book The Wizard of Africa written by Francis Tracy and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-02-11 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Wizard of Africa: Henry M. Stanley's Last Expedition Through the Dark Continent; The Rescue of Emin Pasha; Thrilling Story of the Great Explorer's Adventures Among the Wild Tribes of the Unknown Continent In October, 1886, the first news was received of Emin' s perilous position. He succeeded in getting a communication through to the coast by means of negro runners. At that time he had 10 Egyptian and 15 negro officers, and 20 Coptic ofl'icials. He expected that his ammunition would last until the end of 1886, and he was confident that he would be able to maintain his position still longer, if not attacked by the wild tribes surrounding him. He feared this latter event, and there was danger that the followers of the Mahdi would assault him 1n his stronghold, as soon as it was discovered that he had no more ammunition. He appealed for assistance, and was sure that if a relief force could be sent to him, it would not only save his life, and the lives of the simple men and women who looked up to him for protection and help, but it would prevent the province from lapsing back into barbarism. Book excerpt: In this Victorian adventure novel, a British missionary faces a perilous trial by fire when he is called to bring the Word of the Lord to Central Africa. Rev. Thomas Owen was committed to tending his flock in the English Midlands—that is until a visiting preacher recounted his harrowing experience in central Africa. A warlike tribe known as the Sons of Fire demanded proof of God’s miracles, and failure to deliver proof meant death. Having barely escaped to tell the tale, the man was shocked by Owen’s determination to undertake the mission himself. Living among the Sons of Fire and learning their language, Owen begins to win their respect. But even as he survives the trials established by their god, the Sons of Fire remain suspicious of the new religion. Only when war breaks out among them will the true power of faith be revealed.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A New York Times Editors’ Choice "A welcome addition to the vast literature produced by jailed writers across the centuries . . . [a] thrilling testament to the human spirit." —Ariel Dorfman, The New York Times Book Review "Wrestling with the Devil is a powerful testament to the courage of Ngũgĩ and his fellow prisoners and validation of the hope that an independent Kenya would eventually emerge." —Minneapolis Star Tribune "The Ngũgĩ of Wrestling with the Devil called not just for adding a bit of color to the canon’s sagging shelf, but for abolition and upheaval." —Bookforum An unforgettable chronicle of the year the brilliant novelist and memoirist, long favored for the Nobel Prize, was thrown in a Kenyan jail without charge Wrestling with the Devil, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o's powerful prison memoir, begins literally half an hour before his release on December 12, 1978. In one extended flashback he recalls the night, a year earlier, when armed police pulled him from his home and jailed him in Kenya's Kamĩtĩ Maximum Security Prison, one of the largest in Africa. There, he lives in a prison block with eighteen other political prisoners, quarantined from the general prison population. In a conscious effort to fight back the humiliation and the intended degradation of the spirit, Ngũgĩ—the world-renowned author of Weep Not, Child; Petals of Blood; and Wizard of the Crow—decides to write a novel on toilet paper, the only paper to which he has access, a book that will become his classic, Devil on the Cross. Written in the early 1980s and never before published in America, Wrestling with the Devil is Ngũgĩ's account of the drama and the challenges of writing the novel under twenty-four-hour surveillance. He captures not only the excruciating pain that comes from being cut off from his wife and children, but also the spirit of defiance that defines hope. Ultimately, Wrestling with the Devil is a testimony to the power of imagination to help humans break free of confinement, which is truly the story of all art.

Book excerpt: A dazzling short story collection from the person Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie calls "one of the greatest writers of our time" Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, although renowned for his novels, memoirs, and plays, honed his craft as a short story writer. From "The Fig Tree, " written in 1960, his first year as an undergraduate at Makerere University College in Uganda, to the playful "The Ghost of Michael Jackson," written as a professor at the University of California, Irvine, these collected stories reveal a master of the short form. Covering the period of British colonial rule and resistance in Kenya to the bittersweet experience of independence—and including two stories that have never before been published in the United States— Ngũgĩ's collection features women fighting for their space in a patriarchal society, big men in their Bentleys who have inherited power from the British, and rebels who still embody the fighting spirit of the downtrodden. One of Ngũgĩ's most beloved stories, "Minutes of Glory," tells of Beatrice, a sad but ambitious waitress who fantasizes about being feted and lauded over by the middle-class clientele in the city's beer halls. Her dream leads her on a witty and heartbreaking adventure. Published for the first time in America, Minutes of Glory and Other Stories is a major literary event that celebrates the storytelling might of one of Africa's best-loved writers.
