The reader is then introduced to various social platforms in America, bringing you up close and personal with them, so that nothing about them can be misconstrued with situations otherwise found to be the ordinary. After this, a brief history is provided about many things concerning the less fortunate, and the author intelligently Segway's from this area to set a theological stage of understanding about how and why these things occur, how they keep people trapped, now becoming victims of their dire circumstances, and what it is that can be most effectively done to help them. Some people have never seen the hidden world of the less fortunate, and with acquiring this new understanding, one can ascertain, that a plethora of deadly social weeds may be discovered in the potentially unspoiled garden of brotherly love and understanding. It has been said that giving to others opens a person up to the world of becoming immersed in a unrestricted exhortation of loving kindness that is only superseded by the God himself. But how can this be done? How can it be that with people coming form so many unrelated backgrounds and situations in life that we should naturally be able to "become our brother's keeper"? Is my life and my time more important that the bellhop who opens my door at a luxury hotel, or should I be treated better than the one who collects my residential garbage on Tuesdays in my gated community? As the author sets a place for you at THIS particular table, in a very unique way, you are candidly invited to dine with these people. You shall be introduced to people and situations that you may not get to see on a daily basis and you may actually find yourself learning how to deal with them. And as you exit your comfort zone on this journey to the world of the leftover, you will no doubt learn now to deal with them as they also learn how to deal with you.
