So the present study focusing an evaluation of integrated wasteland development project in Hassan district of Karnataka in India. The study is based on both primary and secondary data. Collected primary data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, namely Tabular and Graphical data analysis methods. Present study includes a micro - level analysis of wasteland development in Karnataka. Redressing these lands is regarded as a powerful tool of attacking the issues of poverty and backwardness. The study indicate that wasteland development defiantly act as an instrument of rural development and agricultural development in India.
