Book From Then til Now

Download or read book From Then til Now written by Carol Peterson and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2004 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have felt for many years that there have perhaps never been a 75 to 100 years that have seen so much progress and change, both for good and bad. Life has always been mixed with both good times and bad times, and so it will until the Lord returns. But this type of good and bad is not what I am writing about. In the horse and buggy era and early years of the car, there were a lot of hard times: poverty, sickness, and epidemics, but by and large, the moral fiber of most people was much better than now. There are many things to blame, but the sad part of this is that I believe the Christians are the most to blame for not getting involved. The scapegoat idea: it's all in the Lord's hands, we don't have to worry or do anything. In the meantime, much has happened because of the ACLU, our court system, the pressure of the entertainment world and the Democratic party, and too many Republicans voting wrong. It is already illegal for the kids to pray in school or even take their Bible to school. They are trying to get "In God We Trust" off our money and take for God and Country out of the Pledge of Allegiance However, I feel there is a trend now of thinking seriously about God and morals and hard work, and there will have to be if this world is going to last. So I am dedicating this to my nine children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and anyone who reads it that it will help them see what a change has taken place in the 1900's and that it might help them on the road of life, plus hopefully bring some enjoyment.

Download or read book From Now Until Then written by Dr. Billy Lindsey and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2016-03-14 with total page 110 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is definitely a book on prophecy. It starts with the church age and ends with an understanding of the millennium. It is not intended to be an in-depth study of any of the topics covered. However, the writer believes the reader will come away with his appetite for more in-depth study of many of the topics, topics that are not often dealt with to the satisfaction of the reader. Topics such as: the resurrected body dress transformation of the saints seven years in heaven (I cant wait) the throne worship and fellowship The chapter on the seventy-five days is so exciting. Have you ever thought about ruling and reigning with King Jesus? There are some things that have to happen between now and the Rapture. Perhaps both the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 wars will take place. It is so interesting to try to place these wars with all thats taking place in the world today. Then there is the millennium, when the saints will rule and reign with King Jesus for one thousand years. Hallelujah, I cant wait!

Book Till Then Is Now

Download or read book Till Then Is Now written by John Totaro and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2011-02-22 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The continued story, that is full of intimate details and struggles of my life are exposed. I understand that everyone has a story to tell, but this is different. My first release, “A Cry for Justice”, wasn’t the half of it. People write a single book and leave it at that, I have written my second book and I am thrilled to share with you, the reader, the many lessons I have had in my search for truth and understanding. Can one man really be finished with a story about his life? Doesn’t life keep going and become stable, eventually? Well you be the judge of that, in your own heart, after reading this next release. You will be entertained and relieved that people do have it easier than others and the level of learning is different. The often said, “Been there done that”, will have a new meaning.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book examines the role music has played in the formation of the political and national identity of the Bahamas. Timothy Rommen analyzes Bahamian musical life as it has been influenced and shaped by the islands’ location between the United States and the rest of the Caribbean; tourism; and Bahamian colonial and postcolonial history. Focusing on popular music in the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, in particular rake-n-scrape and Junkanoo, Rommen finds a Bahamian music that has remained culturally rooted in the local even as it has undergone major transformations. Highlighting the ways entertainers have represented themselves to Bahamians and to tourists, Funky Nassau illustrates the shifting terrain that musicians navigated during the rapid growth of tourism and in the aftermath of independence.
