Book excerpt: Further research has found a baptisimal record for Simon Walter, son of Wilhelm Walter, born in 1770 and baptized at Cocalio Moden Krick, Weisseichen Land and Seltenreich, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This may be the Simon Walter who migrated to across the mountains to the area now in West Virginia, ca. 1800. He died in 1846 at the age of 75. This work makes some corrections and adds to descendant lines found in the work by Ethel and John Hupp.

Their descendants and ancestry are the subject of this history. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, California and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry and genealogical data in Germany and The Netherlands to about 1552 A.D.
