The number of students in attendance during the ses sion of 1896 was 751; session of 1897 800; session of 1898 800; session of 1899 911. If to the number of stu dents registered for the regular session, 1899 there be added the 130 enroll-ed in the summer school, it would make 1041 indi viduals who have enjoyed the benefits of University instruction during the past session. The enrollment at the Main University at Austin at this date is 756, exceeding the enrollment on the same date last year by 114. A detailed statement of the student enrollment is given in Exhibit A.
