Book The Winepress of God s Wrath

Download or read book The Winepress of God s Wrath written by Steve A. Hamilton and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2021-06-29 with total page 231 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Without exception, this is the most revealing commentary of the book of Revelation in decades! This fresh and historically researched commentary reveals what early Christians had known so many years ago about the apocalypse. After 1,900 years, present-day Christians finally have a reliable document that explains Christ’s prophetic book. This commentary contains amazing insights. One of the main adversaries in the book of Revelation was a prominent historical figure. He was known as the savior of the church. People looked up to him and worshipped him. The apostle Paul called him the man of sin and the son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3). The apostle John, in one of his earlier writings, called him the Antichrist (1 John 2:18). Those who failed to get their names written in the Book of Life marveled at his presence in eternal punishment (Revelation 17:8). That person is identified by name in this commentary. Armageddon is more than a great battle in the book of Revelation. It is the one defining event that will affect everyone’s life. The number of combatants “is as the sand of the sea.” Yet the battle will be over before it ever begins (Revelation 20:8–9). The bowls of God’s wrath were poured out on a wicked and unsuspecting world. Historically, “a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image” (Revelation 16:2). This plague was described in detail by writers who lived as it occurred. This commentary includes their firsthand accounts. The Winepress of God’s Wrath depicts God’s anger at a wicked society while providing hope and comfort to believers. The theme in the book of Revelation is clear—the wicked will not escape destruction. Only obedient Christians will avoid the winepress of God’s wrath.

Book excerpt: A commentary on the book of Revelation, chapters 5 - 22, in plain English. This commentary has been written for the average individual. In this commentary on Revelation, author Fred DeRuvo draws back the curtain on chapters five through twenty-two, presenting information in an easy-to-understand style, written for the average person. Whether he succeeds or not is up to each reader to decide. One thing is certain regarding the book of Revelation. Because of its prophetic nature, Christians will continue to debate aspects of it until such a time as we can know for certain. Either the things found within Revelation are yet to come to pass, and that alone will prove their veracity, or they will not come to pass. Only time will tell. Probably the most often-missed point of Revelation is the fact that it reveals the Lamb of God for who He is; King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We must never forget that the book of Revelation is first and foremost about Jesus Christ, God the Son. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Without Him, there would be no Revelation! All eyes on the King!

Book excerpt: With a surprising number of people professing a belief that we are living in the Biblical End Times, this lively 1902 deconstruction of the Book of Revelation is even more relevant than ever. Analyzing the final chapters of the Bible on a verse-by-verse basis-and finding much to be contentious about, particularly when it comes to other interpretations of the book-Bullinger reveals a powerful, devotional way to approach Revelation. British clergyman ETHELBERT WILLIAM BULLINGER (1837-1913) was one of the most respected Bible scholars of the 19th century. He is author of numerous works including Great Cloud of Witnesses and How to Enjoy the Bible.

Book Interpretation of the Book of Revelation

Download or read book Interpretation of the Book of Revelation written by Apostolos Makrakis and published by . This book was released on 2018-12-03 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "(...) in a time of times and a half of a time, when the dispersion hath been consummated, all these things shall be-come known." - Daniel 12:7Many Dispensationalist and Preterist scholars have sought to interpret the Apocalypse, but they have obscured rather than unveiled the mysterious secret of the book. This is primarily because they have misunderstood the "times" for when the divine truths were to be revealed, in accordance with the conditions set forth in Daniel 12:7: "¿when the dispersion hath been consummated, all these things will become known." This time having been fulfilled, starting with the end of the Jewish Diaspora and the First Aliyah in the year 1882, the meaning and true interpretation of Revelation was simultaneously brought to light by Makrakis that very same year. Makrakis is considered to be the "Father of the Neo-Historicist method" of prophetic interpretation of the scriptures, as he was the first to reinterpret the Apocalypse through a newer Eastern Orthodox perspective on the history of Christianity. Makrakis breathes new life into the long forgotten Classical Historicist method for interpreting biblical prophecies, which viewed prophecies as a continuous fulfillment of events throughout history until the second coming. All of the important questions and answers have been brought forward for the first time by this largest ever Eastern Orthodox commentary on the Apocalypse. According to the interpretation advanced by Makrakis, many prophecies have been fulfilled precision and accuracy, with a never-before-seen Christological emphasis on key events described through the history of the Church including the rise of every major heresy for the last 2000 years.
