Book The nucleus ist the atom the electron shell fiction

Download or read book The nucleus ist the atom the electron shell fiction written by Helmut Albert and published by epubli. This book was released on 2022-09-21 with total page 46 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As already more than 100 years ago, also according to today's conception, an atom should consist of an atomic nucleus and an atomic shell. An atom is considered as a triple system with electrons in the atomic shell and protons and neutrons in the atomic nucleus. The properties of chemical elements are said to depend on the electrons and electron configurations. What electrical charge an atom has is determined by the ratio of electrons and protons. According to the theory of the checkerboard-planar atomic structure, these ideas are backward and a mistake. The checkerboard-planar atomic structure assumes a binary system of atoms. According to it, the nucleus is the atom and the shell is fiction. The protons and neutrons of the atom, form the whole mass. Protons are right-handed and neutrons left-handed, fast rotating building blocks of the atom. Spin-Up and Spin-Down. Based on these properties, protons and neutrons build up into atomic rectangles. This happens checkerboard-planar in the square lattice. In this way, each isotope of an element forms an individual "proton-neutron configuration". Depending on the configurations, open or closed, we are dealing with a reactive, or non-reactive atom. On the other hand, whether an atom is electrically positively or negatively charged depends on the unoccupied proton or neutron sites of an atom. The idea of a core-shell atom will no longer be relevant in the foreseeable future. The realization that atoms have a chessboard-like planar structure, on the other hand, will provide a new approach to the structure of matter.

Book the nucleus is the atom the electron shells fiction

Download or read book the nucleus is the atom the electron shells fiction written by Helmut Albert and published by epubli. This book was released on 2021-09-05 with total page 30 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With the first nuclear-shell atomic model in history in 1911, Ernest Rutherford postulated a large atomic shell with electrically negative electrons and a small electrically positive atomic nucleus. He considered the atomic nucleus to be a single positive charge around which electrons orbit, or linger, at a great distance. He did not yet know that the atomic nucleus is composed of protons and neutrons. Thus the often quoted comparison of the atom with a planetary system is comprehensible. (The construction principle is still valid for today's atomic model of particle physics). However, this idea quickly becomes nonsensical if one takes into account the later discoveries of the atomic building blocks proton (1919) and neutron (1932). And this in two respects: If one assumes that proton and electron have the same opposite electric charge, then the laws of nature would have to work here as well, as they apply to cations and anions in the structure of the ion crystals. However, the same applies also to the so-called atomic nucleus and its protons and neutrons, whose nuclear force is unexplained by science until today. In the 3rd chapter, the treatise refers to this by dealing with the rotational properties and the kinetic energies of the nucleons. Also for this particle system of the so-called nucleus only one possibility of a structure exists: That of a chessboard-like structure! This e-book edition is a translated and modified treatise, of the e-book published in German in 2019: "Der Kern ist das Atom, die Hülle ist Fiction". The shown theory refers to the atom model with chessboard-like structure (Albert 2017)

Book excerpt: The author develops the problem of God in a stimulating way, by exploring science, philosophy, history, and other disciplines. He concludes that God does not exist because the supernatural does not exist and therefore God, an entity of the supernatural, also does not exist. He regards religion as the biggest hoax ever released on mankind. With his great erudition and critical reasoning, he will incite the reader to serious thought. The controversial topic will provoke a great deal of criticism and perhaps consequently contribute to clarification of the Gods problem. The main concern of the author remains the quest for truth from every possible angle. The book is a modern testament.

Book Theory of Quadsitron Energy Connectivity

Download or read book Theory of Quadsitron Energy Connectivity written by Lane B. Scheiber II MD and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2019-05-23 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The luminous aether, a concept known for hundreds of years, is the fine essence of the universe. Over the last 130 years, mainstream science abandoned the knowledge such an aether existed. Yet, reawakening the principles of a luminous aether as the fabric of space--both within our being and surrounding us, reaching out in every direction to the very edges of the universe-- explains many unsolved mysteries. The luminous aether is a vast three-dimensional ocean of the tiniest and most elemental particles called quadsitrons. From the fusion of quadsitrons and energy, all else in the universe is constructed. The dynamics of quadsitrons interacting with energy accounts for and connects all the micro and macrophenomena that fill our lives, such as gravity, light, electrons, atoms, molecules, and magnetism. It is essential we understand and grasp the principles of this wondrous quadsitron-energy connectivity in order to advance our technology forward to interstellar travel.

Book Planetary Atom The A Fictional Account Of George Adolphus Schott The Forgotten Physicist

This book was released on 2021-10-25 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'I read The Planetary Atom with great interest. Of course, we are all aware of the major contributions made by legendary researchers such as Ernest Rutherford, who first set up the model known as 'the planetary atom'. But I knew nothing of the much more discrete figure of George Adolphus Schott. I was impressed, on reading this book, to discover the significance and conceptual depth of his work.'Claude Cohen-TannoudjiNobel Laureate in PhysicsCollège de France, Paris 'Although Science is not fiction, the lives and works of scientists provide real substance for a novel like The Planetary Atom, which tells a story of general public interest.'Jean-Marie LehnNobel Laureate in ChemistryUniversité Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg Foreword by Roald Hoffmann, Nobel Laureate in ChemistryThis largely imaginary biography recreates the life and times of George Adolphus Schott, a contemporary of Rutherford and Bohr, who criticized the Planetary Atom which was proposed to account for celebrated observations by Rutherford. Schott proved the Planetary Atom to be incompatible with fundamental properties of physics. Unfortunately, his work was cast aside because of Bohr's success in accounting for the structure of the atom. Later, it was found that Schott had, in fact, predicted important effects. Nonetheless, his contribution was forgotten and his discovery of Synchrotron Radiation was attributed to another. In The Planetary Atom, Schott's interactions with eminent scientists of the time are reconstructed. The novel rehabilitates an unjustly forgotten British researcher and restores him to his rightful place as one of the great scientists of his time.Related Link(s)

Book Breakfast with Einstein

  • Pages : 272 pages

Download or read book Breakfast with Einstein written by Chad Orzel and published by BenBella Books. This book was released on 2018-12-11 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Your alarm goes off, and you head to the kitchen to make yourself some toast and a cup of coffee. Little do you know, as you savor the aroma of the steam rising from your cup, that your ordinary morning routine depends on some of the weirdest phenomena ever discovered. The world of quantum physics is generally thought of as hopelessly esoteric. While classical physics gives us the laws governing why a ball rolls downhill, how a plane is able to fly, and so on, its quantum cousin gives us particles that are actually waves, "spooky" action at a distance, and Schrodinger's unlucky cat. But, believe it or not, even the most mundane of everyday activities is profoundly influenced by the abstract and exotic world of the quantum. In Breakfast with Einstein, Chad Orzel illuminates the strange phenomena lurking just beneath the surface of our ordinary lives by digging into the surprisingly complicated physics involved in his (and anyone's) morning routine. Orzel, author of How to Teach Quantum Physics to Your Dog, explores how quantum connects with everyday reality, and offers engaging, layperson-level explanations of the mind-bending ideas central to modern physics. From the sun, alarm clocks, and the red glow of a toaster's hot filaments (the glow that launched quantum mechanics) to the chemistry of food aroma, a typical day is rich with examples of quantum weirdness. Breakfast with Einstein reveals the hidden physics all around us, and after reading this book, your ordinary mornings will never seem quite as ordinary again.

Book Superatoms

    Book Details:
  • Author : Nicola Gaston
  • Publisher : CRC Press
  • Release : 2023-04-05
  • ISBN : 1000848345
  • Pages : 114 pages

Download or read book Superatoms written by Nicola Gaston and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2023-04-05 with total page 114 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Superatoms are a growing topic of interest in nanoscience, bringing the physics of electronic structure together with the chemistry of atomically precise clusters. They offer the prospect of materials design based on the targeted tunability of nanoscale building blocks, creating electronic materials that can be used as everything from catalysts to computing hardware. This book is designed to be an introduction to the field, covering the history of the concept and related theoretical models from cluster physics. It provides an overview of modern theoretical techniques and presents a survey of recent literature, with particular emphasis on the utilization of these nanoscale building blocks. It explores the jellium model, shell structure in nuclear physics, and the relationship of these to the solution of the Schrödinger equation for the atom. The subsequent extension into density functional theory enables multiple examples of recent literature studies to be used to demonstrate the key concepts. This book is an ideal introduction for students looking to build bridges between cluster and condensed matter physics and the chemistry of superatoms, in particular at a graduate level.

Book Experimenting on a Small Planet

Download or read book Experimenting on a Small Planet written by William W. Hay and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-09-27 with total page 1000 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a thorough introduction to climate science and global change. The author is a geologist who has spent much of his life investigating the climate of Earth from a time when it was warm and dinosaurs roamed the land, to today's changing climate. Bill Hay takes you on a journey to understand how the climate system works. He explores how humans are unintentionally conducting a grand uncontrolled experiment which is leading to unanticipated changes. We follow the twisting path of seemingly unrelated discoveries in physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and even mathematics to learn how they led to our present knowledge of how our planet works. He explains why the weather is becoming increasingly chaotic as our planet warms at a rate far faster than at any time in its geologic past. He speculates on possible future outcomes, and suggests that nature itself may make some unexpected course corrections. Although the book is written for the layman with little knowledge of science or mathematics, it includes information from many diverse fields to provide even those actively working in the field of climatology with a broader view of this developing drama. Experimenting on a Small Planet is a must read for anyone having more than a casual interest in global warming and climate change - one of the most important and challenging issues of our time. This new edition includes actual data from climate science into 2021. Numerous Powerpoint slides can be downloaded to allow lecturers and teachers to more effectively use the book as a basis for climate change education.

Book On the Revolutions of the Internal Spheres

Download or read book On the Revolutions of the Internal Spheres written by K Troy and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2018-01-25 with total page 486 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In simple terms, this book challenges the ambiguous accounts of matter and light offered by contemporary physics. A new model of the atom is presented, making possible a fresh understanding of the transmission of light, the nature of chemical bonding, and the structure of the atomic table. The development of atomic physics in the past one hundred years has undermined the view that the universe is an ordered place operating according to principles that can be grasped by the rational mind. The basic players in quantum systems are believed to be particles without positions, causal processes that evolve in fundamentally uncertain ways. In language accessible to the layperson, this book shows how the empirical data of modern physics can be reinterpreted so that the world makes sense. Without dismissing any of the experimental findings of the past century, we present a new concept of matter and a new model of the transmission of light. The emission spectra of the elements, the structure of the periodic table, and the patterns of chemical bonding all follow naturally from this new conception of matter and light. The end result is a way of looking at the world that is simple, ordered, and comprehensible.

Book Disagreeing despite the Data

Download or read book Disagreeing despite the Data written by David Apgar and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2024-08-19 with total page 157 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Disagreeing despite the Data: The Destruction of the Factual Commons examines the pressing problem of factual disagreement between social groups, suggesting that the belief segregation underway in the United States may be irreversible. David Apgar draws on the work of twentieth-century philosophers of science and language—especially Popper, Wittgenstein, and Davidson—to identify three requirements for factual agreement to be possible at all: a pervasive habit of checking assumptions, densely connected communities, and projects that straddle those communities. The growing refusal to test assumptions and individual isolation can be remedied by critical thinking and community building. Factual agreement between groups is impossible without shared projects or other meaningful interaction, however, and a large part of American society has insulated itself from the rest. Without shared projects, communities lose the ability to tell whether they agree or not regardless of the words they use. Disagreeing despite the Data looks at the destructive effects of belief segregation with similar roots in several dissimilar developing countries on a path wide enough for richer ones, like the United States, to follow.
