Book The Making of an Apostle Volume 3 Knowledge Wisdom and Understanding

Download or read book The Making of an Apostle Volume 3 Knowledge Wisdom and Understanding written by Apostle Sharon Loving Ruff and published by The Making of anApostle, a Christian Work LLC. This book was released on 2013-08-22 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume 3, "Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding" shares another captivating glimpse into Apostle Sharon Loving Ruff's 27 year journey as a Black American female God-sent servant in this generation. Every thought-provoking chapter journals a particular experience, revelation, or adventure which occurred as she was sent to convey God's response to specific prayers from His people, or as training for future ministry assignments. Thus, she provides a unique perspective of the heart of God towards humanity: His love, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, grace, as well as, displeasure, chastisement and judgment. Armed with Rhema Words from the mouth of God, Biblical revelation knowledge and spiritual giftings from her Apostolic calling, her journals not only share God's response to various situations but also exposes Satan's deceptive tactics which were used to interfere with or to derail people's ability to reach their next level of development until God sent her to them as His messenger. Thus, her service unto the Lord yields first-hand experience in trying to help individuals escape or avoid pitfalls and dangers from limiting themselves to carnal assumptions. It is not surprising that by unveiling mysteries of God, she shows how God's timing and manner of response to situations is often different than mankind anticipates. Apostle Sharon's inspiring stories also delineate the far-reaching implications of God SENT words: written, visual or audible, and variances in the human struggle to advance beyond carnality into the realm of unlimited divine possibilities. These Rhema writings offer manna from on-high for those seeking greater truths and/or answers to perplexing situation, spiritual growth and maturity, and how to walk in intimacy with the Almighty God, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Book Thus Saith the Lord Declare War Against the Enemies of the Cross Attacking You and the Works of Your Hands

Download or read book Thus Saith the Lord Declare War Against the Enemies of the Cross Attacking You and the Works of Your Hands written by Apostle Sharon Loving Ruff and published by The Making of anApostle, a Christian Work LLC. This book was released on 2015-11-30 with total page 24 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Apostle Sharon Loving Ruff shares an amazing journey in her quest for a greater anointing from the Lord for spiritual warfare. After years of being used in the deliverance ministry, she encountered individuals who didn’t receive the fullness of relief they desired. Being one who had suffered torments from demonic attacks from childhood, her heart cried out for their plight. One day she decided to experiment with a warfare strategy recorded in Ezekiel 4 in the Bible. The results she sought did not manifest, so she lost interest in that approach. Years later, the Holy Spirit whispered, “Enemies are all around you.” Shortly afterwards, she received a visit from an Angel of the Lord. In a voluminous voice he said, "Declare war against the enemies of the Cross attacking you and the works of your hands." Little did she know that the manner in which she followed those instructions wasn't sufficient to protect the works of her hands or her from the spiritual enemies that the Holy Spirit had told her were surrounding her. This truth was revealed about four months later when the Angel of the Lord made his second visit. This time his visitation brought a message that was a strong rebuke. Her book chronicles her experiences, manifested changes in her life and members of her church, and ends with an amazing breakthrough. She invites others to seek the Lord for permission to use His declaration of warfare prayer delivered by the Angel of the Lord on his third visit.

Book excerpt: God's Gifts for a Fallen World Common Grace is often considered Abraham Kuyper's crowning work, an exploration of how God expresses grace even to the unsaved. Kuyper firmly believed that though many people in the world will remain unconverted, God's grace is still shown to the world as a whole. In this third and final volume of Common Grace, Kuyper brings his argument to its logical completion by turning to practical implications. With detailed explorations on matters of church and state, family, upbringing, and society, Kuyper provides practical guidance for all who desire to flourish within the created order, a world in which God's grace is generously given to all.

Book excerpt: Does God speak to us apart from Scripture? The belief that God provides us with extra-biblical revelation for extra-biblical decision making (what we term as mega mysticism) is incredibly popular. Hence, there are a multitude of books explaining how to "hear" from God. Once again, we go to Scripture to answer vital questions regarding how God communicates with us today, and come to the following conclusions: - The idea that God grants extra-biblical, amoral revelation directly to our minds is not supported in Scripture. - God does not have a private, personal will for our lives that we must discern outside of Scripture. - The translation of paraklēte in the Gospel of John as "Counselor" is incorrect. - The "wisdom" we are to ask for in James 1 is entirely moral in nature as described in James 3. It does not include answers to all the questions that mega mystics claim God wants to answer. - Mega mysticism is leading many Christians astray in dangerous ways.

Download or read book On First Principles written by Origen and published by Ave Maria Press. This book was released on 2013-12-09 with total page 576 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Origen’s On First Principles is a foundational work in the development of Christian thought and doctrine: it is the first attempt in history at a systematic Christian theology. For over a decade it has been out of print with only expensive used copies available; now it is available at an affordable price and in a more accessible format. On First Principles is the most important surviving text written by third-century Church father, Origen. Origen wrote in a time when fundamental doctrines had not yet been fully articulated by the Church, and contributed to the very formation of Christianity. Readers see Origen grappling with the mysteries of salvation and brainstorming how they can be understood. This edition presents G. W. Butterworth’s trusted translation in a new, more readable format, retains the introduction by Henri de Lubac, and includes a new foreword by John C. Cavadini. As St. Gregory of Nazianzus, Doctor of the Church, wrote: “Origen is the stone on which all of us were sharpened.”
