The subjects consisted of the 14 non-injured players age (x age= 19.9 ± 1.4yr, x height = 185.4 ± 4.9cm, x mass = 78.5 + 5.4kg) on the Springfield College Men's Volleyball Team. All subjects took part in their regular two-hour in season volleyball training session 5-6 times per week for 8 weeks. The subjects were randomly assigned into control and experimental groups. The control group participated only in volleyball practice while the experimental group participated in a plyometric training program twice per week following the regular volleyball training sessions. The plyometric program consisted of depth jumps, box drills, high knee bounding drills and repetitive vertical jumps. Vertical jump height was measured, using the Vertec, pre- and post-training.
