The pastor and/or music director will make the decision whether and when to sing hymns. And at the conclusion of Mass, a suitable hymn can send the people forth with the praise of Almighty God on their lips. The antiphons (in Latin) may be found in the Graduale Romanum, and numerous English settings of these texts are available--many at no cost.
