Sweet Summer has now attained her perfect loveliness; the roses on her cheeks will never look more beautiful than they do now, nor will her sky-blue eyes ever beam with sweeter lustre. She has wreathed her sunny hair with the sweetest and fairest of flowers; and when they have faded, there will be no more found to ma e a frame of blossoms round her matchless countenance until the leaves of Autumn have fallen, white Winter awakened from his coldverdant meadows and listening to the birds in the adjoining ove that seemed to have a friendly contention wit an echo, whose dead voice seemed to live in a hollow tree, near the brow of that primrose-hill.
