Download or read book Arizona Automobile Theft Authority 5 year Agency Strategic Plan written by Arizona Automobile Theft Authority and published by . This book was released on 2017 with total page 5 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA) was established by the Arizona Legislature in 1992 to create a statewide effort to reduce auto theft crimes. The AATA's annual budget is approximately $5.3 million and is funded through a $1 per vehicle/per year assessment of more than 400 insurance companies doing business in Arizona. The Authority uses NO General Fund monies. Agency appropriation increase requests for the last four fiscal years have not been approved. The AATA has requested a $6.5 million annual appropriation for the next five years to increase statewide programs. AATA Appropriated Funds provide support for annual Law Enforcement, Vertical Prosecution, and Public Awareness/Outreach Grants to statewide law enforcement and criminal justice agencies. Approximately 75% of AATA's budget funds the Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force, also known as RATTLER (Regional Auto Theft Team Law Enforcement Response). The AZ. Auto Theft Task Force is a multi-agency partnership made up of state, county, city and federal law enforcement working together to combat auto theft crimes across Arizona"--Page 1.

Download or read book Arizona Automobile Theft Authority Five year Strategic Plan FY19 FY24 written by Arizona Automobile Theft Authority and published by . This book was released on 2017 with total page 6 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The AATA's mission is to prevent and combat auto theft through a statewide cooperative effort by supporting law enforcement, vertical prosecution, and prevention programs across Arizona.... The AATA submitted a budget request of $7.5 million dollars for FY19 to make up for program cuts occurring during the past three years when the Agency was underfunded. Since FY18, this underfunding has caused reductions in grant-funded police officer and prosecutor positions; with no additional funds available for grantees in other program areas, typically funded by the AATA. The continued underfunding has resulted in the Agency being currently unable to respond to requests for assistance from our criminal justice partners"--Page 1.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This booklet by Jonathan Meyer is a wonderful example of combining your personal and professional skills for the benefit of others. This material will benefit you on the topics of car theft, insurance fraud, and personal safety; topics of concern for every motor vehicle driver. Add to this subject Mr. Meyer's knowledge of Martial Arts; which has its core, the value of preparation, observation, and proactive defensive. Together they are a perfect example towards the creation of effective risk management to reduce "real world" risks. And together you have a new and comprehensive resource on a subject that has been present since the beginning of the automobile. Everyone who drives a motor vehicle has the exposures covered in this material. We all want to protect the significant value of our vehicle. But more importantly, we need to protect ourselves from personal harm. While on the surface the topics presented may seem hard wired into our minds, in reality they need to be visited and revisited. They need to be shared with both new drivers and drivers of all ages. -Sam S. Revenson President Associated Risk Management "Jon Meyer has packed this small book with dozens of great tips for the safety conscious public. There is an old saying 'An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.' This book is a pound of prevention." Prof. Arthur Cohen B.A., M.A. a.k.a.
