Lastly, this publication is a work in progress. It will inevitably change as the collective conversation regarding sexual assault continues to evolve. The artworks provided for this publication were made by art therapists who facilitate therapeutic art programs for people who have experienced sexual violence. The artwork functions as another kind of language, intentionally placed within this text-heavy publication, as a respite from the density of the verbal language. This work highlights arts' powerful ability to convey what often words cannot.
