Download or read book Attribution Modelling in Google Analytics and Beyond written by Himanshu Sharma and published by Blurb. This book was released on 2021-09-29 with total page 480 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Attribution modelling is the process of understanding and assigning conversion credit to marketing channels. The primary objective of attribution modelling is to understand the buying behaviour of your website visitors and to determine the most effective marketing channels for investment at a particular point in time. A lot has been said about attribution modelling over the years. However, talking about attribution is the easy bit. Implementing it is the real challenge. This book has been written to help you implement attribution modelling in your organisation. This expert guide will help your organisation think about marketing holistically. It will teach you to leverage the knowledge of attribution modelling while allocating your marketing budget and helping you understand your users' buying behaviour. In this book, there is a strong focus on using Google Analytics and other Google tools and technologies, such as Google Ads (AdWords). I have explained various attribution models mainly in the context of Google Analytics. However, a large portion of this book does not deal with Google Analytics at all. So even if you have never used Google Analytics before, you can still benefit from this book. To get the maximum benefit from this book, you will need a working knowledge of Google Analytics and ecommerce. No knowledge of statistics or traditional marketing mix modelling is required. Any person who wants to improve the online performance of their business and marketing campaigns should read this book. Online marketers, web analysts, and data scientists will benefit the most from this book. If you have a strong background in traditional marketing mix modelling you will benefit tremendously from this book because it will enable you to integrate attribution modelling data with your MMM data. By feeding the attribution modelling data to your MMM model you can truly measure your overall marketing effectiveness and fix attribution issues.

  • Author : Rita Felski
  • Publisher : JHU Press

  • Pages : 353 pages

Download or read book Comparison written by Rita Felski and published by JHU Press. This book was released on 2013-06-15 with total page 353 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An extended volume of New Literary History that considers the practice of comparison in literary studies and other disciplines within the humanities. Writing and teaching across cultures and disciplines makes the act of comparison inevitable. Comparative theory and methods of comparative literature and cultural anthropology have permeated the humanities as they engage more centrally with the cultural flows and circulation of past and present globalization. How do scholars make ethically and politically responsible comparisons without assuming that their own values and norms are the standard by which other cultures should be measured? Comparison expands upon a special issue of the journal New Literary History, which analyzed theories and methodologies of comparison. Six new essays from senior scholars of transnational and postcolonial studies complement the original ten pieces. The work of Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Ella Shohat, Robert Stam, R. Radhakrishnan, Bruce Robbins, Ania Loomba, Haun Saussy, Linda Gordon, Walter D. Mignolo, Shu-mei Shih, and Pheng Cheah are included with contributions by anthropologists Caroline B. Brettell and Richard Handler. Historical periods discussed range from the early modern to the contemporary and geographical regions that encompass the globe. Ultimately, Comparison argues for the importance of greater self-reflexivity about the politics and methods of comparison in teaching and in research.

This book was released on 2019-10-22 with total page 68 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Global Soil Laboratory Network (GLOSOLAN) was formally established under the framework of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) in November 2017, when its first meeting took place at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy. GLOSOLAN’s objectives are: (1) to strengthen the performance of laboratories through use of standardized methods and protocols, and (2) to harmonize soil analysis methods so that soil information is comparable and interpretable across laboratories, countries and regions. In this context, GLOSOLAN plans to develop open access Standard Operating Procedures and manuals on good laboratory practices, execute regional and global proficiency testing, and increase the overall performance of laboratories through the organization of training sessions. By April 2019, over 220 laboratories from all continents were registered in GLOSOLAN. The South-East Asian Laboratory Network (SEALNET) which corresponds to the Regional Soil Laboratory Networks for the South-East Asian region decided to conduct an independent assessment of the technical performance of SEALNET laboratories through an inter-laboratory comparison. This report presents the results of the analysis using different figures to help laboratory managers and other non-specialist readers to perceive the different aspects of (i) the laboratory performance evaluation, (ii) the way to identify the technical problems in case of poor performances and (iii) suggesting which solutions can be proposed to improve the analytical performances

Book Rethinking Comparison

Download or read book Rethinking Comparison written by Erica S. Simmons and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2021-10-07 with total page 303 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Qualitative comparative methods – and specifically controlled qualitative comparisons – are central to the study of politics. They are not the only kind of comparison, though, that can help us better understand political processes and outcomes. Yet there are few guides for how to conduct non-controlled comparative research. This volume brings together chapters from more than a dozen leading methods scholars from across the discipline of political science, including positivist and interpretivist scholars, qualitative methodologists, mixed-methods researchers, ethnographers, historians, and statisticians. Their work revolutionizes qualitative research design by diversifying the repertoire of comparative methods available to students of politics, offering readers clear suggestions for what kinds of comparisons might be possible, why they are useful, and how to execute them. By systematically thinking through how we engage in qualitative comparisons and the kinds of insights those comparisons produce, these collected essays create new possibilities to advance what we know about politics.
