Each piece contained in this book reflects all facets of my journey. Some Poems are very dark and some are very positive roads taken. I am a First Nations Cree Woman from the Samson Cree Nation in Hobbema, Alberta, Canada. Consequently, there are Poems that also reflect pride in my heritage, some which are very strong.
