Book PRODUITS DE CONTRASTE ULTRASONORE

Download or read book PRODUITS DE CONTRASTE ULTRASONORE written by AYACHE.. BOUAKAZ and published by . This book was released on 1996 with total page 231 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: IL EST EN GENERAL PLUS DELICAT POUR UN RADIOLOGUE D'INTERPRETER DES IMAGES ULTRASONORES QUE DES IMAGES ISSUES D'AUTRES MODALITES D'IMAGERIE. IL N'EXISTE EN EFFET PAS DE REPERES EXPLICITES SUR L'IMAGE ULTRASONORE. DANS CE CAS ET COMME CELA EXISTE DEJA POUR LES AUTRES TECHNIQUES D'IMAGERIE, L'UTILISATION DE PRODUITS DE CONTRASTE PEUT ETRE ENVISAGEE. TYPIQUEMENT, L'ECHOGRAPHIE DE CONTRASTE CONSISTE A INJECTER DANS LA CIRCULATION SANGUINE DES MICROPARTICULES GAZEUSES QUI CONSTITUENT DES DIFFUSEURS DES ONDES ULTRASONORES, DANS LE BUT D'AMELIORER L'ECHOGENEITE DE CERTAINES STRUCTURES DU CORPS HUMAIN. ON PROPOSE DANS LA PREMIERE PARTIE DE CE TRAVAIL UNE APPROCHE BIBLIOGRAPHIQUE THEORIQUE PERMETTANT LA CARACTERISATION ACOUSTIQUE DES PRODUITS DE CONTRASTE. EN MEME TEMPS, UN BANC DE MESURE EXPERIMENTAL EST DEVELOPPE ET MIS AU POINT POUR QUANTIFIER LES PROPRIETES ULTRASONORES DES PRODUITS DE CONTRASTE IN VITRO. LES PRODUITS SONT CARACTERISES PAR LE COEFFICIENT DE REFLEXION, LE COEFFICIENT D'ATTENUATION ET LE RAPPORT REFLEXION/ATTENUATION (SCATTERING TO ATTENUATION RATIO - STAR). LES CONDITIONS EXPERIMENTALES CORRESPONDENT A LA REALITE CLINIQUE. LA CONNAISSANCE DE CES PARAMETRES EST ESSENTIELLE POUR UNE EXPLOITATION EFFICACE ET APPROPRIEE DES PRODUITS. ON PRESENTE PAR LA SUITE UNE METHODE PERMETTANT DE DEDUIRE L'APPORT EN NIVEAU DE GRIS DU PRODUIT DE CONTRASTE SUR L'IMAGE ECHOGRAPHIQUE PAR RAPPORT A L'APPORT DES TISSUS BIOLOGIQUES. ON DEDUIT AINSI LES VALEURS OPTIMALES DE CET APPORT POUR AVOIR UN REHAUSSEMENT VISUEL SATISFAISANT SUR L'IMAGE. ON PRESENTE ENFIN UNE NOUVELLE APPLICATION ECHOGRAPHIQUE AVEC PRODUIT DE CONTRASTE: ECHOGRAPHIE ENDOVASCULAIRE DE CONTRASTE. L'INJECTION D'UN AGENT DE CONTRASTE DANS UNE ARTERE S'AVERE TRES BENEFIQUE POUR LA MISE EN EVIDENCE DE SA PAROI

Book Acoustic Characterization of Contrast Agents for Medical Ultrasound Imaging

Download or read book Acoustic Characterization of Contrast Agents for Medical Ultrasound Imaging written by L. Hoff and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-06-29 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Contrast agents for medical ultrasound imaging is a field of growing interest. A large amount of literature has been published on the medical applications of such contrast agents. However, there is no textbook giving a broad overview of the physics and acoustics of the agents. This monograph aims to fill this gap. The book is written by a physicist, from a physics point of view, and it tries to draw links from the physics and acoustics to the medical imaging methods, but medical applications are mainly included for background information. The book consists of nine chapters. The first three chapters give a broad overview of the acoustic theory for bubble-sound interaction, both linear and nonlinear. Most contrast agents are stabilized in a shell, and this shell can have a strong influence on the interaction between the bubbles and the ultrasound. The effect of the shell is given special attention, as this is not easily found in other bubble literature. The following chapters, 4, 5, 6, and 7, describe experimental and theoretical methods used to characterize the acoustic properties of the agents, and results of studies on some agents. Chapter 8 shows how the theory and the experimental results can be combined and used to model various phenomena by means of computer simulations. The main purpose of the simulations is to get insight into the mechanisms behind the described phenomena, not to get accurate predictions and values. The book is aimed at both newcomers into the field, as well as those who are more experienced but want better insight into the acoustics of the contrast bubbles.

Book Ultrasound contrast agents

Download or read book Ultrasound contrast agents written by Gaio Paradossi and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-07-16 with total page 199 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Recent advancements in nano/micro materials and related characterization approaches allow the design of a new type of ultrasound contrast agents (UCAs) with enhanced multifunctional behaviour. This is chance is also supported by the recent achievements in modelling and signal processing. This book provides the state of art of the research activity of two successful European projects, TAMIRUT and SIGHT, addressing an integrated system, encompassing the contrast agent, the hardware equipment and the processing strategies, as a key tool for a combined diagnostic and therapeutic approaches (theranostics) in medical ultrasound. The work provides a highlight of the state of art in the research of novel ultrasound contrast agents (UCAs). Main progresses on the multifunctional aspects of next-generation UCAs concern targeting and drug release properties, perfusion and biointerface behaviour, ultrasound scattering performance, signal processing, electronic equipment.

Book Imagerie des produits de contraste ultrasonore

Download or read book Imagerie des produits de contraste ultrasonore written by Laurent Gerfault and published by . This book was released on 2000 with total page 206 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Congenital Heart Disease

Download or read book Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Congenital Heart Disease written by Mushabbar A. Syed and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-09-26 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This heavily updated textbook focuses on the use of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging in pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease. Over past two decades, CMR has come to occupy an ever more important place in the assessment and management of patients with congenital heart defects (CHD) and other cardiovascular disorders. The modality offers an ever-expanding amount of information about the heart and circulation, provides outstanding images of cardiovascular morphology and function, is increasingly being used to detect pathologic fibrosis, and has an expanding role in the assessment of myocardial viability. Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Congenital Heart Disease is an excellent foundation for any reader not familiar with the field whether they are imagers or clinicians who deal with cardiovascular disease. It also describes the technical details of MRI techniques to help the clinician understand the most important elements of CMR in assessing and managing their patients. In creating the book, the editors have assembled a world-renowned panel of contributors to review the use of CMR in CHD and make it accessible to those working in the field and to those who use the information derived from CMR in their clinical practice.

Book Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies Vol 13 2010 2011

Download or read book Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies Vol 13 2010 2011 written by Catherine Barnard and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2011-12-15 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies provides a forum for the scrutiny of significant issues in EU Law, the law of the European Convention on Human Rights, and Comparative Law with a 'European' dimension, and particularly those issues which have come to the fore during the year preceding publication. The contributions appearing in the collection are commissioned by the Centre for European Legal Studies (CELS) Cambridge, a research centre in the Law Faculty of the University of Cambridge specialising in European legal issues. The papers presented are at the cutting edge of the fields which they address, and reflect the views of recognised experts drawn from the University world, legal practice, and the institutions of both the EU and its Member States. Inclusion of the comparative dimension brings a fresh perspective to the study of European law, and highlights the effects of globalisation of the law more generally, and the resulting cross fertilisation of norms and ideas that has occurred among previously sovereign and separate legal orders. The Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies is an invaluable resource for those wishing to keep pace with legal developments in the fast moving world of European integration.
