Book Book of Orion Liber Aeternus

Download or read book Book of Orion Liber Aeternus written by Luis Marques and published by . This book was released on 2012-07 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Orion is an occult grimoire that presents a profound study on spirituality and ancient symbolism through an initiatory formula that echoes the timeless connection between the psychology of the incarnated mind and the many indefinable layers of divinity. It is an intricate work on the mysteries of Death, Life and Rebirth that develops the premise where the key to the hidden gnosis that holds the secrets of the Universe can be found in the subtlest details in nature. It takes the reader through a realm of lost cultures, encoded mythology and forgotten wisdom, exploring the mental and spiritual tools for the ageless quest of inner growth and understanding by touching the very fabric of immortal consciousness. By presenting a cryptic layer of Asetian philosophy the author educates the student of the occult in how to find, explore and interpret the many roads to personal enlightenment, along with its deceptive traps and illusions, ultimately liberating the spiritual seeker with the power and trust to look within and to conquer his own reality. Organized into three distinctive tomes of scholarly value, this work sheds light on the convoluted wisdom of old Israel known as the Kabbalah and how it connects with earlier Egyptian beliefs. It teaches the seeker about the formation of the Hebrew language so often explored in Western mysticism, the interpretation and use of the multilayered glyph of the Tree of Life, the fragmentation and transmutation of subtle energy explored in advanced metaphysical practice and the fundamental elements at the core of spiritual thought as studied in the mystery schools of past and present. It includes a compilation of different esoteric Libri developed by the author and of particular relevance to any contemporary occult curriculum, elaborating on the nature of initiation and its transformational properties, along with the detailed study of a powerful sigil and its complex layer of symbolism. This book conceals many secrets, and while some have the power to change your perception forever with renewed magickal clarity others hold the keys to hidden dungeons within your unconscious mind manifesting as the shadowed crafters of nightmares. Read it carefully... International author Luis Marques, one of the leading specialists in Asetian spirituality, is a renowned expert in metaphysics and Ancient Egyptian knowledge within the Order of Aset Ka. An authority on ancient symbolism and esoteric mysteries, he unveils through these pages another profound literary work that expresses a serious commitment to occult wisdom, which is here presented with an unseen level of clarity, honesty and eloquence.

  • ISBN : 9780742552012
  • Pages : 362 pages

Download or read book Nature Ethics written by Marti Kheel and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2008 with total page 362 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Nature Ethics: An Ecofeminist Perspective, Marti Kheel explores the underlying worldview of nature ethics, offering an alternative ecofeminist perspective. She focuses on four prominent representatives of holist philosophy: two early conservationists (Theodore Roosevelt and Aldo Leopold) and two contemporary philosophers (Holmes Rolston III, and transpersonal ecologist Warwick Fox). Kheel argues that in directing their moral allegiance to abstract constructs (e.g. species, the ecosystem, or the transpersonal Self) these influential nature theorists represent a masculinist orientation that devalues concern for individual animals. Seeking to heal the divisions among the seemingly disparate movements and philosophies of feminism, animal advocacy, environmental ethics, and holistic health, Kheel proposes an ecofeminist philosophy that underscores the importance of empathy and care for individual beings as well as larger wholes.

Book Take Your Partners

Download or read book Take Your Partners written by R. Roberts and published by Springer. This book was released on 2001-01-24 with total page 363 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Marking the 30th anniversary of the formation of Orion Bank in 1970, financial historian Richard Roberts has written a history of Orion and the rise and decline of the consortium banking movement. Consortium banks were formed as joint ventures to enable banks to operate in the booming Euromarkets, with virtually every major international bank participating in a consortium bank during their heyday in the 1970s and 1980s. Orion Bank was one of the leading players in the Euromarkets in those decades: its shareholders were six of the biggest banks in the world from the three major trading blocks: Chase Manhattan, Royal Bank of Canada, NatWest, Westdeutsche Landesbank, Credito Italiano and Mitsubishi Bank. Like other consortiums banks, Orion Bank was prominent in Eurocurrency syndicated lending, but more unusually, it was also a top Eurobond lead manager. The story of Orion exemplifies the tensions inherent in the joint venture approach to business development and the strategic dilemmas facing consortium bank managements and shareholders. Richard Roberts uses primary archival papers and interviews with former Orion executives and other bankers prominent in consortium and investment banking to present an authoritative case study with great topical relevance as today's European banking industry continues to integrate across borders. Take Your Partners is also an invaluable source of reference for anyone with an interest in the Euromarkets and the development of international banking.

A Lincoln Legacy: The History of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michiganby David Gardner Chardavoyne with Hugh W. Brenneman, Jr. provides the first and only comprehensive examination of the history of the United States federal courts in the Western District of Michigan. The federal courts were established by the U.S. Constitution to adjudicate disputes involving federal laws, disputes between litigants from different states involving state and federal laws, and to punish violations of criminal laws passed by Congress. During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln signed legislation creating two federal districts in the state of Michigan: the Eastern and Western Districts—the latter of which is headquartered in Grand Rapids and which now encompasses the western half of the Lower Peninsula and all of the Upper Peninsula. With the rapid expansion of legislation passed by Congress, the increasing mobility of society, and the growth of interstate commerce, the federal courts have assumed an important and sometimes dominant role in major litigation today. In A Lincoln Legacy, Chardavoyne tracks the history of these courts over eleven chapters, from their creation by the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 to 2020. He discusses the changes in society that drove the evolving federal litigation and some significant cases heard in the Western District. Additionally, fifteen appendices are included in the book, listing of all the federal circuit and district judges in the Western District; commissioners; magistrate judges and bankruptcy judges; U.S. Attorneys; clerks of the courts; and more. Chardavoyne also identifies auxiliary offices and organizations revolving around the federal court that play a major role in its activities (e.g., the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Federal Public Defender’s Office, the Federal Bar Association, etc.). A Lincoln Legacyprovides a thorough examination of the history of the federal courts of Western Michigan. It will appeal to those learning and practicing law, as well as those with an interest in Michigan history.

Download or read book Orion is Upside Down written by Amy Kernahan and published by Arena books. This book was released on 2011-09-12 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This sea story from the bottom of the earth takes the reader on a philosophical voyage through many realms, religious and secular, mathematical and poetic, natural and mechanical. Something akin to a Scottish Bill Bryson, Amy Kernahan, who was born and grew up on the Isle of Lewis, the largest of the chain of islands off the northwest coast of Scotland, sets out with her travelling companion, her father, to journey in the Antarctic and follow her dreams of seeing, and even standing in, the places where Sir Ernest Shackleton had been. Casting Shackleton in the role of Virgil to her Dante, she follows his trail through the ice fields around the Antarctic Peninsula, a vision here on earth as hellish as the frozen Lake Cocytus at the centre of Dante's Inferno. Along the way, the might of the sea, and the glories of the Antarctic set Amy pondering themes of Judeo-Christianity, seeing Antarctica as a remnant of Eden, unpopulated by both mankind and sin. The mathematics of nature reveals itself to her, and she is awed by the prophetic soul of Coleridge and his Ancient Mariner. Amy has set out on her journey believing it to be a pilgrimage to Shackleton's grave, but as she sojourns beneath striking southern skies where even the familiar is alien, she realises that she is on another more spiritual pilgrimage, called by the ancient Christians of her homeland peregrinatio, the search for what they called 'the place of one's resurrection' or true home. The outcome, although perhaps not surprising, is not quite as clear cut as it might have been.

Phenomenal earthquakes and tidal waves will completely destroy our civilisation. Europe and North America will shift thousands of kilometres northwards into polar climate. Nearly the whole earth's population will perish in the apocalyptic happenings. These dire predictions stem from Mayans and Egyptians -- descendants of the legendary Atlantis. They built tens of thousands of mandjits and escaped to South America and Egypt. In the year 2012 Venus, Orion and several other stars will take the same 'code positions' as in 9792 BC, the year of the previous cataclysm! For thousands of years historical sources have told of a forgotten time capsule of ancient wisdom located in a mythical labyrinth of secret chambers filled with artefacts and documents from the previous flood -- this book gives one possible location.
