His outstanding record performance led to his emergence as the governor, an office he used to achieved several other things his predecessors could not. He depended on God, his boss and kinsmen supporters to defy all odds to achieve on record time. Nations, particularly those tagged needy nations, rather than poor nations, need rewarding rulers like nebulous Nehemiah.

Book Just Like Daddy Mummy

Download or read book Just Like Daddy Mummy written by Rev Emmanuel Oghene and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2017-01-09 with total page 311 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Daddy and Mummy are the first teachers, mentors, and examples available for children to take after. As a result, children are naturally tempted to become addicted to whatever they see their parents do in their childhood and formative years. However, because all humans have their inevitable and inalienable weaknesses, it is punitive for children to imbibe the curious characters and conduct of parents because it would affect the children and, in turn, their own children, as well as the society in general. It is profitable to identify and adopt the commendable character and conduct of parents, as well as abhor and avoid the curious character and conduct of parents.

As things turned out, David wished his nephews, the sons of Zeruiah, one of his sisters, had not joined his army. They had a lusty craving for violence without reverence for God and immediate reality, whereas David reverenced God above anything else. You and I need God to shield us from the troubles that relatives constitute. Some are more of a curse than a blessing.

Book The Weight of Womanhood

  • ISBN : 1664116508

Download or read book The Weight of Womanhood written by Rev Emmanuel Oghene and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2021-09-12 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Weight of Womanhood highlights the incomprehensible avoidable pressures put on women by societal expectations, male folks and sometimes women themselves. There is this culture of taking women for granted or taking advantage of women. Laban used his two daughters to swindle his nephew, Jacob, the Philistine Kings, and high officials used Delilah against Israelite leader, Samson who had become a pain in the ass for the Philistines’ leadership. King Saul attempted to use his daughters rather than any of his sons to kill David. Certain cultures imply that one of the worst things a woman can do is to conceive and bear a girlchild. They turn a blind eye to the murder of millions of growing girlchild in the womb on yearly basis. Moses’ older sister, Miriam resented and antagonized his wife to the extent that God was incensed to punish Miriam. King Rehoboam robbed his eldest son of his right because he preferred one of his stepmothers to the eldest son’s mother. When Samson’s mother claimed that an angel had visited her to talk about the imminent conception and birth of Samson, his father did not believe her. She had to ask God to resend His angel to attest to her claim before Samson’s father believed her. Most men take women’s gynecological and maternal exigencies for granted. Once Hannah did not conceive and bear him a child quickly, though he was supposed to love her very much, Elkanah opted for a second wife, Peninnah who made life miserable for Hannah once she bore Elkanah children while Hannah remained barren. He did not do anything to restrain Peninnah from worsening Hannah’s miseries.

Book excerpt: 'Save Us to Serve You' is about the fact that Saviours of their fellow humans start off as the servant of their fellow men and end up as the masters of the same group of people. This means that they practice the principle of the way up is down and sowing soothing service to reap resounding service from your beneficiaries. Therefore, helpers help others earlier to help themselves later or givers get greater return. Jesus affirmed this when He said whoever wants to be the master over others must start with serving the wellbeing of the people. Jesus meant that people like to serve any individual who makes their wellbeing his highest priority.

Book Tamar Tamarites and Judah Like Tamar

Download or read book Tamar Tamarites and Judah Like Tamar written by Rev Emmanuel Oghene and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-12-26 with total page 81 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Tamar, Tamarites, and Judah-like Tamar', unveils one of the greatest mysteries surrounding the subject of greatness, inheritance and, or succession, even when the inheritor or heir is not fully aware of the force of destiny at work in his life and experiences. Tamar, though a daughter-in-law, became appreciably more prominent than the sons of Judah that she married when the genealogy of Judah and mankinds Messiah from Abraham through to David and beyond was traced. She broke the tradition that denied her the right of strong-say in the matters of inheritance in the family she married into and become a reference point. This is a great lesson for mankind. There is the story of a man allotted his only house (a one story building) to his eldest sons wife because he claimed she was the only person closest to him who made it a duty to bring his meals to his home for the remaining years of his life that he lived as a widower. He said he had shared the legacy of education up to the university level to all his biological children and owed them nothing else. He placed a curse on whoever would not allow the favoured daughter-in-law to enjoy the inheritance he gave her. Meanwhile, the daughter-in-law merely took to heart the counsel or teaching of her parents to care for her parents-in-law like she would do for her own parents if she desired to enjoy her marriage. They had taught her that as long as she went out of her way to care for her parents-in-law, they would protect her marriage from unbearable bad treatment by her husband and other family members. She gained more than she anticipated from heeding this parental counsel.

Book This Stage Managed Life World

Download or read book This Stage Managed Life World written by Emmanuel Oghene and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-09-14 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The belief that every physical experience has a spiritual undertone reveals that everything is stage-managed in life. Long before Josiah was born, God sent a young prophet from Judah to make it know to King Jeroboam of Israel. And indeed, Josiah lived nearly 257 years later to accomplish the purpose of God. This means that God stage-managed to ensure that Josiah lived to accomplish His assigned purpose. Queen Esther stage-managed her husband, the Emperor, to get rid of Haman the Amalekite, the preserved the lives of her fellow Jews as well as made Mordecai the Prime Minister of the Persian Empire at the expense of Haman. Naomi and Ruth stage-managed Boaz to marry Ruth so that Boaz would continually provide for them. God stage-managed to ensure the Israelites left the Egyptian captivity with enormous wealth. Check out the desirability or otherwise of stage-management of events of life.

Individual mannerisms might differ but all recognized and relevant individuals who have ever lived are rebels or are engaged in rebellion in one form or the other at different times of their lives. Book Moses Double Standard Dealership

Download or read book Moses Double Standard Dealership written by Rev Emmanuel Oghene and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2017-03-28 with total page 969 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why Pastors Act Strangely exemplified by Moses Double Standard Dealership Style reveals that Men of Gods mistakes are usually multi-dimensional. There is what we can call Mans Monumental Monstrous Metamorphosis practiced it is that the job of leading the Israelites that Moses rejected earlier, he was no longer eager to give up and be replaced by Korah who volunteered to do so. These do not add up. There is also the subject of Men of Gods Monstrous Mindset, Mannerisms, Methods and Tactics (MGMMMT). It is part of Mans Mind Mutilating Manners and Manliness. Moses was bold and courageous to use his God-given privilege as he deemed fit and to the best of his interest and that of his loved ones. Maybe, God gave His designated representatives in any generation that privilege because fundamentally, He had meant man to take charge of the earth on His behalf as long as man obeyed Him. If so, then Moses was still in order as far as God was concerned.

Prosperity is far better than poverty anyhow one views it. Prosperity gives regard, respect and honour to whoever, including the young and small in stature than the old and big framed. David transformed into the family head by reason of his prosperity and translation into the status of the great and his father and older siblings had to seek refuge under his lifetime umbrella. Poverty breeds disrespect, despising and all manner of frustrating feelings. The little owned by the poor is even sometimes taken and given to the rich.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many people desire to build empires in the form of commercial businesses in the fields of fashion, printing, car dealing, engineering, and politics, etc., but they dont know how to go about it or sustain it for years after they are gone. Investment in your team is a very crucial part of building empires in life because what you put in them keeps the company or business runningeven in your absence when on a business trip or a holiday with your family. In this book I have been able to outline seven key steps to take when dealing with your vision and the teams that will help you drive that vision for many years. The Holy Ghost opened my eyes to behold secrets and principles that Nehemiah operated with when trying to rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem, which he did successfully within fifty-two days despite all opposition. Of course, obstacles will be always there, but what gives credibility to your vision is the amount of opposition you will face in its pursuit. I believe that as you read this book you will not only start that race of building an empire but also continue to the very end. Pst. Victor Oluwadamilare
