Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: About the Book A good marriage! How do you have a good marriage without crashing on the rocks of the current secular society? This book lays out what the Bible says about how to have a good marriage. Since this marriage book is based on the Bible, there will be parts of it that you will hate and parts of it that you will love. Why? Because many of societies’ ideas no longer agree with what the Bible says, and we are accustomed to think that what we hear from society is correct. But God never changes, and He made us, and He knows and understands us better than we know ourselves. We must follow God’s formula to be successful in marriage. About the Author David Deeken has been a Christian since he was 25 years old and has been teaching the Bible for over 40 years. He taught Bible weekly in a high security prison in South Texas for 15 years before he felt God leading him and his wife to move to California. While there, they both were very active in teaching and promoting God’s Word. David and his wife have been married over 53 years.

Book The Cockroach Combat Manual II

Download or read book The Cockroach Combat Manual II written by Dr. Austin M. Frishman & Paul J. Bello and published by Author House. This book was released on 2013-10 with total page 179 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the early 80s we were evaluating a new cockroach control product in a high-rise housing project. Cockroach populations were high even though the apartment we were in was squeaky clean. The three small children that shared a twin bed there looked different to me but I wasnt sure why. Dr. Frishman pointed out that they didnt have any eye brows or lashes and then he exposed thousands of roaches hiding behind the head board. Some things you never forget. In my view, having Paul Bello, an industry expert himself with years of practical experience, team up with Dr. Cockroach makes The Cockroach Combat Manual II a must read because cockroach control is deserving of our best efforts.

  • Release : 2022-02-03
  • ISBN : 1009234463
  • Pages : 177 pages

Download or read book Antisocial Personality written by Richard Howard and published by RCPsych Publications. This book was released on 2022-02-03 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It remains something of a mystery why some individuals behave in persistently malevolent and destructive ways towards their fellows, causing untold harm both to themselves and their victims. This book argues that to understand the roots of antisocial behaviour, one first has to understand what motivates the majority of people to behave prosocially - to think, feel and act in non-malevolent ways. All people are motivated to seek emotion goals - to feel thrilled and excited, to feel safe from the threats of others, to feel a sense of justice, and to feel gratified. However some individuals seek these emotion goals in antisocial ways due to an excess of emotions such as distrust, boredom, greed, vengeance and insecurity. The authors outline interpersonal and neurobiological correlates of antisocial personality, its developmental antecedents, its frequency and pattern across different societies and cultures, and different approaches to its treatment and rehabilitation.
