Those who study the Law of Assumption face many questions: What is the best method for me? When should I use it? How often and for how long? Lullaby or scene technique? Congratulatory scene or telephone technique? What is the first principle? What pearl is Neville talking about and why should I buy it? What does it mean that there is only one cause? How am I to know what the fulfilled wish feels like? Neville Goddard's texts are often difficult to understand - especially for beginners. The two authors have therefore endeavoured to make Goddard's texts more accessible and have answered many of the questions that may arise.

Book Feeling Is the Secret

Download or read book Feeling Is the Secret written by Neville Goddard and published by ببلومانيا للنشر والتوزيع. This book was released on 2024-03-31 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The central premise of the book revolves around the idea that our predominant feelings and emotions shape our reality. Goddard argues that the key to manifesting our desires lies not only in visualizing them but also in feeling as though they have already been realized. Goddard emphasizes the importance of assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, meaning that individuals should immerse themselves emotionally in the experience of having already achieved their desires. He asserts that this emotional state, when sustained consistently, impresses upon the subconscious mind and sets in motion the forces necessary to bring those desires into physical reality. Furthermore, Goddard discusses the concept of mental imagery and its power to create and shape our experiences. He suggests that individuals should use their imagination to create vivid mental scenes that evoke the desired feelings, thereby attracting corresponding circumstances and events. "Feeling Is The Secret" serves as a practical guide for harnessing the creative power of the mind to transform one's life. It encourages readers to cultivate a sense of inner conviction and emotional congruence with their desires, ultimately leading to the manifestation of their dreams and aspirations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Your Faith Is Your Fortune by Neville Goddard.Man can decree a thing and it will come to pass.Man has always decreed that which has appeared in his world. He is today decreeing that which is appearing in his world and he shall continue to do so as long as man is conscious of being man.Nothing has ever appeared in man's world but what man decreed that it should. This you may deny; but try as you will you cannot disprove it for this decreeing is based upon a changeless principle. Man does not command things to appear by his words which are, more often than not, a confession of his doubts and fears. Decreeing is ever done in consciousness.Every man automatically expresses that which he is conscious of being. Without effort or the use of words, at every moment of time, man is commanding himself to be and to possess that which he is conscious of being and possessing.

Book excerpt: An understanding of psychology—specifically the psychology behind how users behave and interact with digital interfaces—is perhaps the single most valuable nondesign skill a designer can have. The most elegant design can fail if it forces users to conform to the design rather than working within the "blueprint" of how humans perceive and process the world around them. This practical guide explains how you can apply key principles in psychology to build products and experiences that are more intuitive and human-centered. Author Jon Yablonski deconstructs familiar apps and experiences to provide clear examples of how UX designers can build experiences that adapt to how users perceive and process digital interfaces. Download or read book The 48 Laws of Power written by Robert Greene and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2023-10-31 with total page 481 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Amoral, cunning, ruthless, and instructive, this multi-million-copy New York Times bestseller is the definitive manual for anyone interested in gaining, observing, or defending against ultimate control – from the author of The Laws of Human Nature. In the book that People magazine proclaimed “beguiling” and “fascinating,” Robert Greene and Joost Elffers have distilled three thousand years of the history of power into 48 essential laws by drawing from the philosophies of Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, and Carl Von Clausewitz and also from the lives of figures ranging from Henry Kissinger to P.T. Barnum. Some laws teach the need for prudence (“Law 1: Never Outshine the Master”), others teach the value of confidence (“Law 28: Enter Action with Boldness”), and many recommend absolute self-preservation (“Law 15: Crush Your Enemy Totally”). Every law, though, has one thing in common: an interest in total domination. In a bold and arresting two-color package, The 48 Laws of Power is ideal whether your aim is conquest, self-defense, or simply to understand the rules of the game.

Book To Kill Another

    Book Details:
  • Author : Graham McAleer
  • Publisher : Routledge
  • Release : 2017-07-12
  • ISBN : 1351471783
  • Pages : 368 pages

Download or read book To Kill Another written by Graham McAleer and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-07-12 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Basing his argument on natural law, Graham J. McAleer asserts that only public authority has the right to intentionally kill. He draws upon the work of Thomas Aquinas and Francisco de Vitoria, defending the claim that these natural law theorists have developed the best available theory of homicide. To have rule of law in any meaningful sense, the author argues, there must be protections for the guilty and prohibition against killing innocents. Western theories of law have drifted steadily towards the privatization of homicide, despite the fact that it runs counter to rule of law. Public acts of homicide like capital punishment are now viewed by many as barbaric, while a private act of homicide like the starvation of comatose patients is viewed by many as a caring gesture both to patient and family. This subversion of the rule of law is prompted by humanitarian ethics. McAleer argues that humanitarianism is a false friend to those committed to the rule of law. The problem of human vulnerability makes political theology an inescapable consideration for law. Readers will find much to reflect upon in this book. McAleer's argument can be read as a cultural chapter in the history of moral ideas, but also as a close and timely reading of a grim subject.

Book Toward a Unified Criminology

Download or read book Toward a Unified Criminology written by Robert Agnew and published by NYU Press. This book was released on 2011-11 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why do people commit crimes? How do we control crime? The theories that criminologists use to answer these questions are built on a number of underlying assumptions, including those about the nature of crime, free will, human nature, and society. These assumptions have a fundamental impact on criminology: they largely determine what criminologists study, the causes they examine, the control strategies they recommend, and how they test their theories and evaluate crime-control strategies. In Toward a Unified Criminology, noted criminologist Robert Agnew provides a critical examination of these assumptions, drawing on a range of research and perspectives to argue that these assumptions are too restrictive, unduly limiting the types of "crime" that are explored, the causes that are considered, and the methods of data collection and analysis that are employed. As such, they undermine our ability to explain and control crime. Agnew then proposes an alternative set of assumptions, drawing heavily on both mainstream and critical theories of criminology, with the goal of laying the foundation for a unified criminology that is better able to explain a broader range of crimes.

Book The Judgment of Culture

Download or read book The Judgment of Culture written by Lawrence Rosen and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-08-09 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Legal systems do not operate in isolation but in complex cultural contexts. This original and thought-provoking volume considers how cultural assumptions are built into American legal decision-making, drawing on a series of case studies to demonstrate the range of ways courts express their understanding of human nature, social relationships, and the sense of orderliness that cultural schemes purport to offer. Unpacking issues such as native heritage, male circumcision, and natural law, Rosen provides fresh insight into socio-legal studies, drawing on his extensive experience as both an anthropologist and a law professional to provide a unique perspective on the important issue of law and cultural practice. The Judgement of Culture will make informative reading for students and scholars of anthropology, law, and related subjects across the social sciences.

Download or read book The Appearance of Corruption written by Daron R. Shaw and published by Oxford University Press, USA. This book was released on 2021 with total page 201 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The sanctity of political speech is a key element of the U.S. Constitution and a cornerstone of the American republic. When the Supreme Court linked political speech to campaign finance in its landmark Buckley v. Valeo (1976) decision, the modern era of campaign finance regulation was born. In practical terms, this decision meant that in order to pass constitutional muster, any laws limiting money in politics must be narrowly-tailored and serve a compelling state interest. The lone state interest the Court was willing to entertain was the mitigation of corruption. In order to reach this argument the Court advanced a sophisticated behavioral model, one with key assumptions about how laws will affect voters' opinions and behavior. These assumptions have received surprisingly little attention in the literature. This book takes up the task of identifying and analyzing empirically the Court's presumed links between campaign finance regulations and political opinions and behavior. In so doing, we rely on original survey data and experiments from 2009-2016 to openly confront the question of what happens when the Supreme Court is wrong, and when the foundation of over 40 years of jurisprudence is simply not true"--
