Or, les sages-femmes ont une place privilégiée pour la prévention de ces violences car elles sont au cœur de la parentalité. Nous pouvons donc nous demander si les sages-femmes sont sensibilisées à ce sujet. Quelles sont les connaissances des sages-femmes de Champagne-Ardenne sur l'impact des VEO ? Quelle est la place de la sage-femme dans la prévention de ces violences ? Méthode : Cette étude quantitative a été réalisée à travers un questionnaire diffusé aux sages-femmes de Champagne-Ardenne entre octobre et décembre 2021. Notre population regroupe des sages-femmes libérales, hospitalières et territoriales. Nous avons analysé 205 réponses, représentant un taux de participation de 28,5%. Résultats : 85,3% des sages-femmes estiment avoir leur place dans la prévention des VEO. Cependant, seulement 40% d'entre elles évoquent ce sujet auprès de leurs patientes. La majorité n'en parle pas par manque de temps. Elles auraient également besoin d'un fascicule à remettre aux parents, d'un livret guide et d'un annuaire de personnes ressources.
