This book was released on 2022 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. »--

Book Research Perspectives on the Marginalization of Core French Teachers

Download or read book Research Perspectives on the Marginalization of Core French Teachers written by Natalie Monica Mazur and published by . This book was released on 2020 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: French as a Second Language (FSL) education is mandatory in Ontario. Research on elementary Core French education in Ontario has shown that its teachers are marginalized in practice. How this marginalization is positioned by researchers and what researchers recommend to end it are key foci of this thesis. Using a hybrid framework of complexity theory, critical theory, and language as right, the research perspective on the marginalization of Core French teachers is examined in order to form an agenda for future research. Dichotomy and variability in researchers' positioning of the issue as well as in their recommendations are uncovered. A move toward grassroots-level activist research is highlighted, with a salient theme of agency and empowerment. A major implication of this research is the need to address the place of Core French within national bilingualism. Suggestions for future research include larger sample sizes, quantitative investigations, and interventionist research.

First, we were seduced by the convenience of a wireless world; then, atmospheric weather experimentation in the guise of carbons “climate change” converted the air we breathe into an antenna. Now, the geo-engineering we’ve been subjected to for two decades is being normalized as the “Star Wars” Space Fence rises around and within us. Is this the Space Age we were promised?

Book Coyote and Raven Go Canoeing

Download or read book Coyote and Raven Go Canoeing written by Peter Cole and published by McGill-Queen's Press - MQUP. This book was released on 2006 with total page 359 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In a gesture toward traditional First Nations orality, Peter Cole blends poetic and dramatic voices with storytelling. A conversation between two tricksters, Coyote and Raven, and the colonized and the colonizers, his narrative takes the form of a canoe journey. Cole draws on traditional Aboriginal knowledge to move away from the western genres that have long contained, shaped, and determined ab/originality. Written in free verse, Coyote and Raven Go Canoeing is meant to be read aloud and breaks new ground by making orality the foundation of its scholarship. Cole moves beyond the rhetoric and presumption of white academic (de/re)colonizers to aboriginal spaces recreated by aboriginal peoples. Rather than employing the traditional western practice of gathering information about exoticized other, demonized other, contained other, Coyote and Raven Go Canoeing is a celebration of aboriginal thought, spirituality, and practice, a sharing of lived experience as First Peoples.

Book Chemtrails HAARP and the Full Spectrum Dominance of Planet Earth

Download or read book Chemtrails HAARP and the Full Spectrum Dominance of Planet Earth written by Elana Freeland and published by Feral House. This book was released on 2014-05-26 with total page 273 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are entering a Space Age, but not the kind President Kennedy originally envisioned. This Space Age is replacing resource wars and redefines planet earth as a "battlespace" in accordance with the military doctrine of "Full-Spectrum Dominance." This book examines how chemtrails and ionispheric heaters like the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project (HAARP) in Alaska services a full-spectrum dominance. This "Revolution in Military Affairs" needs an atmospheric medium to assure wireless access to the bodies and brains of anyone on Earth—from heat-seeking missiles to a form of mind control. How sinister are these technologies? Are we being prepared for a "global village" lockdown? The recent release of NSA records have reminded Americans that "eyes in the sky" are tracking us as supercomputers record the phone calls, e-mails, internet posts, and even the brain frequencies of millions. Elana M. Freeland's startling book sifts through the confusion surrounding chemtrails-versus-contrails and how extreme weather is being "geo-engineered" to enrich disaster capitalists and intimidate nations. A deconstruction of Bernard J. Eastlund's HAARP patent points to other covert agendas, such as a global Smart Grid infrastructure that enables access to every body and brain on Earth, a "Transhumanist" future that erases lines between human and machine, and Nanobiological hybrids armed with microprocessers that infest and harm human bodies.
