Download or read book Kingdom Dating 1 written by Dexter Jones and published by Uwriteit Publishing Company. This book was released on 2013-02-28 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a spiritual book and it will be hard for a carnal believer or a non-believer to understand. This is not your ordinary book about dating and relationships. Because it is a spiritual book the ones that will get the most out of it are believers in Christ Jesus. The word of God says, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 1:14 As a citizen of the kingdom you are called to live by your faith and operate in the realm of the spirit. A question that I would like to start off asking you is; do you believe that you can meet your Soul Mate within the next 30 days? If there is any hesitation at all in answering that question in your heart then for you it will not happen. However, if you can answer that question with an immediate response without any hesitation in a positive manner then get ready because this is your year. If you were not able to answer that question immediately in the positive then your mind has to be renewed and this is the book that will help transform it. If you desire to be married and have been single for 5, 10, 20 or more years it is because you have not learned how to tap into the spirit realm and cause your mate to come forth. You have been living more in fear and doubt than in faith and belief and you have reaped the rewards of your fearful thinking. Either you're living your life in faith and attracting the mate of your soul or you're living your life in fear and experiencing no potentials or are simply just dating with no real potential in sight. Most singles are living in fear and the thoughts which are deposited deep in their spirit are thoughts such as: - It's hard to find the right person. - I wonder will I ever get married. - All the good Christian men/women are taken. - Blah, Blah, Blah, etc... When you live in fear it creates a magnetic field that pulls to you the thing that you feared. Job said, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Job 3:25 As a citizen of the Kingdom it's time to learn how to date in the spirit realm for your mate and live by the faith which never fails. When you date in the spirit realm you call those things that do not exist in the natural realm but does exist in the spirit realm to become a material reality in your life. The word of God says, "Even God (you must begin to act just like God), who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." Romans 4:17 It is time to cast aside the doubt and fear and begin to live in belief and faith where there is unlimited blessings and liberty in the spirit.

Book The Middle Kingdom Ramesseum Papyri Tomb and its Archaeological Context

Download or read book The Middle Kingdom Ramesseum Papyri Tomb and its Archaeological Context written by Gianluca Miniaci and published by Nicanor Books. This book was released on 2020-08-15 with total page 129 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1895–96, William Matthew Flinders Petrie and James Edward Quibell discovered a shaft-tomb below the ‘Ramesseum’, the funerary temple of Ramses II at Thebes, Egypt. This is most famous for having the largest group of Middle Kingdom papyri – also known as the Ramesseum Papyri – found in a single spot together with a number of distinctive objects, such as carved ivory tusks and miniature figurines in various materials dated around XVIII century BC. Gianluca Miniaci attempts to thoroughly reconstruct the archaeological context of the tomb: the exact find spot (forgotten afterwards its discovery), its architecture, the identity of its owner(s) and recipient(s) of the assemblage of artifacts. A detailed analysis of the single artifacts – provided for the first with full color photographic records and drawings – and their network of relations gives new life to the Ramesseum assemblage after more than a century from its discovery.

Download or read book Strange Kingdom written by Ken Costa and published by HarperChristian + ORM. This book was released on 2018-03-06 with total page 225 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Experience how the power of the cross unleashes meaning and purpose in the midst of your daily life. This meditative and spiritual reflection by Ken Costa considers the cross and the king who died upon it. Christ’s work on the cross established a kingdom that is strange indeed, if a king died on the cross in order to establish it. It is a kingdom where suffering and abandonment are transformed into the power of presence and live, a kingdom where a King exchanges gifts of great value for worthless dross, where a robber becomes righteous, and a criminal becomes the first citizen of heaven. Spend some time as Easter draws near considering the strange, upside-down kingdom, where broken things are made whole. “A king who dies on the cross must be the king of a rather strange kingdom.” —Dietrich Bonhoeffer "Strange Kingdom is a joy. In my 47 years in the Christian publishing business, Ken Costa’s compelling and inspirational reflections are unique on the meaning and purpose of the cross of Christ. A must-read for every Christian and a revelation for the spiritually curious.”—Joey Paul, Senior Editor, HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Nashville, TN “Ken Costa masterfully and meticulously gives us an in-depth look at the cross of Jesus and what it means to us in our everyday lives.” —Robert Morris, Senior Pastor, Gateway Church, Southlake, TX “Ken Costa’s deep love for God and unashamed defense of the cross of Jesus Christ is mirrored in this book. The perspective of a banker, the mind of a scholar, and the heart of a Christian who wants people to love Christ radiates on every page.” —R. T. Kendall, author and former minister of Westminster Chapel, England “. . . a fresh revelation of Christ and the power of the cross.”—Joseph Prince, Senior Pastor, New Creation Church, Singapore “Not since John Stott’s The Cross of Christ have I read a book on the saving work of Jesus that I want to return to again and again as much as this one.” —Miles Toulmin, Vicar, HTBB, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia “This book will encourage your faith and deepen your understanding of what the cross means to people in their day-to-day lives.” —Jentezen Franklin, Senior Pastor, Free Chapel, Gainesville, GA “His honesty opens a window onto the meaning of the cross and the upside-down world it invites us in.” —Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, England

Book The Lost Dark Age Kingdom of Rheged

Download or read book The Lost Dark Age Kingdom of Rheged written by Ronan Toolis and published by Oxbow Books. This book was released on 2017-01-31 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Trusty's Hill is an early medieval fort at Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway. The hillfort comprises a fortified citadel defined by a vitrified rampart around its summit, with a number of enclosures looping out along lower-lying terraces and crags. The approach to its summit is flanked on one side by a circular rock-cut basin and on the other side by Pictish Symbols carved on to the face of a natural outcrop of bedrock. This Pictish inscribed stone is unique in Dumfries and Galloway, and southern Scotland, and has long puzzled scholars as to why the symbols were carved so far from Pictland and even if they are genuine. The Galloway Picts Project, launched in 2012, aimed to recover evidence for the archaeological context of the inscribed stone, but far from validating the existence of Picts in this southerly region of Scotland, the archaeological context instead suggests that the carvings relate to a royal stronghold and place of inauguration for the local Britons of Galloway around AD 600. Examined in the context of contemporary sites across southern Scotland and northern England, the archaeological evidence from Galloway suggests that this region may have been the heart of the lost Dark Age kingdom of Rheged, a kingdom that was in the late sixth century pre-eminent amongst the kingdoms of the north. The new archaeological evidence from Trusty's Hill enhances our perception of power, politics, economy and culture at a time when the foundations for the kingdoms of Scotland, England and Wales were being laid.

Book Kingdom of Power Power of Kingdom

Download or read book Kingdom of Power Power of Kingdom written by Rob Starner and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2011-01-01 with total page 239 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mark's Gospel is much maligned for its redundancy and stylistic sloppiness. But is this indignity justified? The answer to this question hangs not only on the genre of this work but also on the life setting of its target audience. Rather than unwitting slip-ups of an inept writer, Mark's narrative repetitions and temporal dislocations are better understood as rhetorical strategies for a didactive oral performance. There is "method" to Mark's "madness," and the method maps his meaning. In recent decades, some scholars have become enamored with what they see as a generic affinity between Mark's Gospel and fictive literature, particularly ancient romance novels. Could this be the "method" behind Mark's madness? This book offers readers an exciting and profitable journey into two story worlds that likely share a common historical-cultural setting: Mark's "Gospel" and Chariton's "passion of love." Analyzing these works from the vantage point of narrative sequence, Starner identifies two contrasting worldviews: for Chariton, the world is controlled by the goddess Aphrodite who serves as a powerbroker distributing political, economic, and sociological power to agents who use that power for self-serving ends; for Mark, the world is governed by an All-Powerful God who, shockingly, operates from a posture of powerlessness, inviting (not coercing) humans to accept his lordship and urging them to adopt the self-sacrificial, service-oriented program of living that finds its quintessential expression in the historical Jesus of the Gospels.

God designed you to rule and reign in life in your health, in your finances, in your relationships. If this has not been your experience, it can be. Jesus told us how in Matthew 6:33: 'Seek first the kingdom of God ... ' Teaching and preaching the message of the kingdom dominated the earthly ministry of Jesus. When people heard this message and believed it, miracles occurred. The blind could see, the deaf could hear, and the dead were raised. Author Bill Fries explains the difference between living in God's kingdom and living in a democracy. He teaches you the operating protocol for living victoriously in the kingdom of God on earth, and shows you how to receive God's promises.
