It means “one who learns instruction from another‟, or a disciple is likened to an apprentice who learns from his master tradesman. Thus, a disciple is someone who gains knowledge from the teacher and acts upon it. This series offers a deeper insight into how to be a disciple, therefore, it offers a blueprint of what it means to follow the Lord. Book The Economy of Saudi Arabia in the 21st Century

Download or read book The Economy of Saudi Arabia in the 21st Century written by John Sfakianakis and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2024-06-28 with total page 465 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about Saudi Arabia's efforts to overhaul its economy and the numerous prospects and challenges it faces in doing so. As one of the world's leading oil producers, the outcomes of the most ambitious wave of reforms Saudi Arabia has ever undertaken will provide valuable lessons not only for the kingdom itself but also for other oil-dependent and resource-based economies. Since 2016, Saudi Arabia has embarked on an unparalleled economic - if not social and political - transformation project with an ultimate aim of diversifying away from oil. New sources of growth such as tourism, industry, and entertainment have been identified, but it remains to be seen whether these will be enough to sustain the economy in the post-oil era. Reforms, including lowering energy subsidies, instituting VAT, and introducing indirect taxes on labor and businesses, have already produced notable results. Looking ahead, the economy requires rigorous and continuous processes of severe competition amongst its private sector participants as well as strong institutions. It also requires creative destruction to be allowed to run its course within the wider economy. The economic reform experiment undertaken by Saudi Arabia remains the most sweeping among emerging market economies - and certainly in the entire Middle East. The changes are all encompassing and involve a complex redrawing of the political, economic, religious, and social map.

Book excerpt: We all need deliverance from certain yokes and bondages, for even wrong mindsets and hurt can cripple us emotionally, and spiritually and can even lead to our bodies suffering sickness and ailments. Ultimately, no matter your pain, trauma, affliction, hurt, or oppression, it is a form of enslavement. God does not want us to be enslaved. He wants us to be free, liberated, restored and healed. Remember, God ultimately wants us to be healed spiritually, then in the soul and then in the body. True spiritual counselling thus adopts a holistic approach, dealing with the spirit, soul and body.

Book Strengthened in the Presence of El Gibbor

Download or read book Strengthened in the Presence of El Gibbor written by Riaan Engelbrecht and published by Riaan Engelbrecht. This book was released on 2024-02-20 with total page 259 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If we look at the life of Moses, we find numerous spiritual lessons that will benefit any disciple of Jesus. Is his life important? Most assuredly, as this volume of work explores. He was a murderer, yet God used him mightily. He was almost killed as an infant, yet survived to do great things for God, leading a life of worth and value for 120 years. He survived the harshness of two wilderness journeys, totalling 80 years, and rightly takes his place, even though human, as one of the great heroes of the Bible. Moses as a prophet played a vital role in pointing towards the life and the ministry of Jesus. Moses is of great importance in the Bible for he is recognised as a deliverer (Exodus 3:7–10), covenant mediator (Exodus 34:27), priest (Psalm 99:6), and ruler (Exodus 2:13–14; Acts 7:27). Moses's larger-than-life status as prophet was designed by God as a template from which all other prophets would be measured. Enjoy this journey as covered in volumes one and two to know more about Moses, and how we can spiritually grow on our journey with God.

Book Revival and Awakenings Volume Two

Download or read book Revival and Awakenings Volume Two written by Riaan Engelbrecht and published by Riaan Engelbrecht. This book was released on 2024-07-10 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volumes one and two of Revival and Awakenings (part of the End-Time Series) explore what is a real revival and a spiritual awakening. Prophetically, it delves into what God has been saying for a long time, which is that the Lord will sweep the earth with revival in the end times which will ignite many followers with His holy fire. What will this revival look like? This is the big question, and one would rather say it will not be a singular event, but a sequence of Godly movements across the globe that will be infectious, contagious and real. In an awakening, the Holy Spirit gives unbelieving people - who are dead in their trespasses and sins -a new awareness of their needs. A revival is connected to the people of God and it is when those who are in churches - those who are professing believers - are ministered to by the Holy Spirit in such a way that they are renewed in their devotion to the Lord. The time is ripe for the one final great harvest, yet this calls for the revived church, full of the fire of the Holy Spirit, to go into the fields, to awaken the lost and the forgotten and broken, and to bring them into the loving embrace of a God who is full of compassion, grace and mercy. This is the time of spiritual latter rains, and now is the time to welcome the embrace of a God who is real, alive, and who calls us all into His arms to reflect His beauty and greatness. It is not God’s Will that any soul should perish, but that all men should come to the knowledge of God and be saved. God is calling on all believers to cast their net in the deep for the harvest of souls.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this day and age of troubles, strife and calamities we need to seek, yearn and desire to burn for God by His holy and pure fire! God burns for us in love so we need to burn for Him! The fire of God is the very presence of God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is the anointing and the flow of the power of the eternal and living God. The fire is also the light of God, for fire is light. God is the source of all light as an all-consuming fire. For Christians to be “in” the Lord, they must be in His fire to produce the light and the heat of His love and glory. The Bible teaches that we must be holy as He is Holy. We do so by being refined by His fire. Glory to God, His fire is spiritual, not natural. It is majestic, beautiful, and runs like a liquid in our soul and spirit. How we need to be consumed by His fire so that we may shine His light and dwell in His manifested glory! Yes, the fire is a blazing presence of the Spirit so that we may stand victoriously, overcome in joy and be triumphant in praise and worship to the Great I AM. Let it burn God so that we may burn in Your love and hope!
