Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Do you feel like you just don't fit in? Are you crippled by feelings of discontent? Do you know within that there is another way of being? Are you ready to begin your journey to truth with courage, determination, faith, and trust? Like you, author Amenti Marakita knew that she wasn't living her ultimate life. Restricted by feelings of dissatisfaction and a general sense that she just didn't fit in, she knew that something had to change. She needed strength and motivation to create happiness as an adult. Motherhood was her foundation, and secretarial work was her bread and butter, but she wasn't satisfied. She knew that it would take a leap of faith for things to really change. She took her first step to a new life by opening herself up to the world of natural therapies. She valued the process of working through challenges with various modalities and enjoying the rewards on the other side. She accepted the invitation to explore her reality and experience her true potential as a woman. In Close Your Eyes and Wake Up, Marakita, a Kinergetics practitioner and instructor, shares her guidance with those who are ready to leave the status quo behind and venture boldly into the unknown. Kinergetics opened her heart to a world of happiness within herself by allowing her programmed self to fall away. By learning to trust synchronicity, signs, and inner and outer guidance, she was reborn.

Book Pioneering Spirit

Download or read book Pioneering Spirit written by Jeanine Brownrigg and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2020-12-17 with total page 217 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pioneering Spirit is true-life story about transformation, self-development and healing, showing how our past may hold the key to understanding and healing our present day life experiences. It began as a memoir of the author’s mother, Joan Brownrigg, a gifted and highly respected natural healer who asked her to write her life story. Writing about her parents and grandparents, the author connected with her pioneering ancestors who had left England, Scotland and Ireland to migrate to New Zealand and Argentina at the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries. She uncovered generational patterns and emotional trauma of separation and heartbreak from leaving their homelands and became aware these were affecting her own life. Inspired by her mother’s healing ability, she developed her gift as a healer and trained in Colour and Energy Healing which took her on an inner journey to release the emotional wounds of her past and help heal the ancestral timeline.

Book Porsche Turbo

Download or read book Porsche Turbo written by Randy Leffingwell and published by Motorbooks International. This book was released on 2015-10-23 with total page 259 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Celebrate the rebirth of the world's most stunning high-performance automobile. Porsche made history when it brought turbocharging to the racing world in the form of the 917. When strict regulations regarding engine displacement took away the option of bigger engines, manufacturers turned to forced induction. In its wildest trim, the original 12-cylinder turbocharged Porsche racing engine yielded as much as 1,400 horsepower! Porsche's official philosophy was that racing cars must have a connection to street cars, so it was preordained that Porsche would eventually produce a turbocharged version of its air-cooled flat-six cylinder engine. The resulting 930 Turbo appeared in the spring of 1975 in Europe. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour took a scant 5.5 seconds, and its top speed was 155 miles per hour. The Turbo's distinctive rear wing let the world know that this was something very special. It was nothing less than the rebirth of the high-performance automobile. At a time when the big-block engines in America's so-called "muscle cars" were putting out 180 horsepower and the engines in exotic supercars weren't much more ambitious, the lightweight Porsche was a genuine rocket. Porsche Turbo: The Inside Story of Stuttgart's Turbocharged Road and Race Cars celebrates Porsche's five decades of turbocharged supercar performance, both on the track and on the street. It covers all of the major racing cars as well as the turbocharged street cars, including the 930, 935, 924, 944, 968, 911, and Cayenne Panamera. Don't let this one fly past you!

  • ISBN : 1468444301

Download or read book Cryocoolers written by Graham Walker and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 421 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The rapidly expanding use of very low temperatures in research and high technology during the last several decades and the concurrent high degree of activity in cryogenic engineering have mutually supported each other, each improvement in refrigeration technique making possible wider oppor tunities for research and each new scientific discovery creating a need for a refrigerator with special features. In this book, Professor Walker has provided us with an excellent exposition of the achievements of this period, the fundamental principles involved, and a critical examination of the many different cryogenic systems which have led to a new era of low-level refrigeration. I feel fortunate to have had a part in the developments discussed in this book. During the early 1930s I constructed several rotary engines using leather vanes. Their performance was not good, but I was able to liquefy air. I had been impressed by the usefulness of leather cups in tire pumps and in Claude-type engines for air liquefaction. I was trying to find a way to avoid that part of the friction generated by a leather cup as a result of the radial force of the working gas on the cylindrical part of the cup. During the 1950s I built two efficient helium liquefiers in which essentially leather pistons were used.
