Er rückt die Erfahrung als erste begreifbare Erkenntnis aus sinnlichen Wahrnehmungen ins Zentrum und suggeriert eine leicht nachvollziehbare Erklärung für das komplexe System der Erkenntnisgewinnung. Mit dieser Auffassung steht er deshalb auch nicht alleine da, denn diese Auffassung lässt sich ebenfalls bei – wenn auch teilweise in abgewandelter Form und Ausprägung – einer Vielzahl anderer Philosophen und Denker, wie z.B. Fichte, Popper, Hume und Husserl erkennen. Daher ist es von zentraler Bedeutung, die spezifischen Charakteristika von Kants erkenntnistheoretischer Auffassung der Erfahrung im Prozess der Entwicklung des Verstandes – oder die Reize und Felder , die die Vernunft entwickelt – genau zu betrachten und zu synthetisieren. Die vorliegende Arbeit bewegt sich in der Erkenntnistheorie, die grundlegend auf eine voraussetzungslose Nachprüfung der wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse abzielt und die Antwort auf eine selbstgeschaffene theoretische Skepsis geben will. Genau diesem Ziel hat sich Kant in seinem Werk verschrieben. Er will die Metaphysik und damit die Erkenntnistheorie auf den Pfad der Wissenschaft lenken. In dieser Arbeit soll ein kleiner Teil von dieser umfassenden Materie herausgegriffen und analysiert werden. Im Mittelpunkt stehen zwei scheinbar schwer zu vereinende Gegenüberstellungen von Erkenntnis generierenden Faktoren: die Erfahrung und das (natur-)wissenschaftliche Experiment. Es sollen Analogien und Verbindungslinien zwischen diesen Faktoren gefunden werden, um so dem kant ́schen Verständnis von Erkenntnisgewinnung einen Schritt näher zu kommen. Im Zentrum soll die Frage stehen, wie es möglich sein kann, Erkenntnisse gleichzeitig durch sinnliche Eindrücke und Wissenschaftlichkeit zu gewinnen.
