Book excerpt: Inspirations of the heart has been a series dedicated to life, and the spiritual presence of life all around us, this is why no one buys these books. This has been the series that started the new road to real Salvation within my life, at first it was called phrase Prose, or, words to phrases, and then it was united with the things of the Spirit, that was when it got its new Title, Inspirations of the Heart. Now scripture reveals that we should not trust in the Heart, for the heart is wicked in every way, this is talking about the heart of the flesh, the Heart of Inspiration, is the one that is controlled by the Lord, and that the Lord sees at all times. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the Heart, it is a very strong truth that many try hard to reject, but this is why Inspirations of the Heart is now over 40 Books strong, and there are still 9 more scheduled to come out within the next several years to come. I never though that this series would go as far as it has, it has been a mind blower to me, and it constantly blows my mind all of the time, especially when someone tells me they purchased one or more of them.

This book was released on 2018-07-31 with total page 70 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What then is Inspirations of the Heart? Some could say that it is Inspiration from the Heart, the truth is, This kind of Inspiration is from above, the Wisdom of God. For many years I was dealing with life issues and struggles and I didn't know where to turn as and when I needed to do so. My life, for the most part, was bound with constant chaos, and, the more I tried to make life work the harder it got. One day, however, I found King Jesus without thinking about him, I was homeless at the time, I thought I had him already but was soon to find that I did not, anything anyone said, I believed, that was a clear sign that Christ was not in my life, at least not awake yet. While having some food that I picked up from a dumpster, I had a spiritual encounter, it was wild, I heard voices of people that were not there, and then I saw a figure that wasn't quite human, but not quite a ghost, it was more like a flash of light, it was right there that Inspirations of The Heart came alive on the inside of me, for the next three weeks, no matter where I went, I talked about the Lord, the word was strong within me and I could not shake it off, two weeks later, I was in an apartment of my own, and seemingly, everything was going well. When seemingly everything is going well, you might as well look for the worst to happen, and it did, I found a job, all was well, then, I had a stroke and the job went away, the apartment went away, then, I lost my car and almost everything I owned. But the word was strong within me, and I wrote books of poetry, well, notebooks, then I started writing short stories, all the while, the writing kept my mind intact. This is why I now say that Inspirations of the Heart actually saved my life because I believe the Lord used this to help keep me from falling away, and falling down on my deathbed. Come to the Light is about leaving to the condemnation of the world, the flesh, and the rulers of darkness and coming back to the power and the love of God that if you can just trust him, his love for you and me is undeniable.

Book The Complete Works of C H Spurgeon Volume 35

Download or read book The Complete Works of C H Spurgeon Volume 35 written by Spurgeon, Charles and published by Delmarva Publications, Inc.. This book was released on 2015-03-26 with total page 977 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume 35 Sermons 2062-2120 Charles Spurgeon (19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) is one of the church’s most famous preachers and Christianity’s foremost prolific writers. Called the “Prince of Preachers,” he was one of England's most notable ministers for most of the second half of the nineteenth century, and he still remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations today. His sermons have spread all over the world, and his many printed works have been cherished classics for decades. In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people, often up to ten times each week. He was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years. He was an inexhaustible author of various kinds of works including sermons, commentaries, an autobiography, as well as books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more. Spurgeon was known to produce powerful sermons of penetrating thought and divine inspiration, and his oratory and writing skills held his audiences spellbound. Many Christians have discovered Spurgeon's messages to be among the best in Christian literature. Edward Walford wrote in Old and New London: Volume 6 (1878) quoting an article from the Times regarding one of Spurgeon’s meetings at Surrey: “Fancy a congregation consisting of 10,000 souls, streaming into the hall, mounting the galleries, humming, buzzing, and swarming—a mighty hive of bees—eager to secure at first the best places, and, at last, any place at all. After waiting more than half an hour—for if you wish to have a seat you must be there at least that space of time in advance—Mr. Spurgeon ascended his tribune. To the hum, and rush, and trampling of men, succeeded a low, concentrated thrill and murmur of devotion, which seemed to run at once, like an electric current, through the breast of every one present, and by this magnetic chain the preacher held us fast bound for about two hours. It is not my purpose to give a summary of his discourse. It is enough to say of his voice, that its power and volume are sufficient to reach every one in that vast assembly; of his language, that it is neither high-flown nor homely; of his style, that it is at times familiar, at times declamatory, but always happy, and often eloquent; of his doctrine, that neither the 'Calvinist' nor the 'Baptist' appears in the forefront of the battle which is waged by Mr. Spurgeon with relentless animosity, and with Gospel weapons, against irreligion, cant, hypocrisy, pride, and those secret bosom-sins which so easily beset a man in daily life; and to sum up all in a word, it is enough to say of the man himself, that he impresses you with a perfect conviction of his sincerity.” More than a hundred years after his death, Charles Spurgeon’s legacy continues to effectively inspire the church around the world. For this reason, Delmarva Publications has chosen to publish the complete works of Charles Spurgeon.

How did this kind of thing get started? many years ago, actually it was 1994, I was a tour bus driver in Richmond Virginia, and I had been told that I had within thirty days to live, while telling everyone about my going into the grave idea, through and outburst of inspiration from the Lord, I was told, to stop thinking and talking about death and dying and start thinking and talking about life and live, so here it is 2017, and I am still here, and Inspiration from the Heart of God, became my motto. Book excerpt: "Remarkable. This profound volume informs and inspires." —PW, STARRED review From the Pulitzer Prize–winning New York Times science reporter acclaimed for “bring[ing] scientific concepts to life” (Bill Gates), a pathbreaking new investigation into the mysteries of human creativity How does creativity work? Where does inspiration come from? What are the secrets of our most revered creators? How can we maximize our creative potential? THIS IS THE STORY OF HOW WE CREATE. Creativity defines the human experience. It sparks achievement and innovation in art, science, technology, business, sports, and virtually every activity. It has fueled human progress on a global level, but it equally is the source of profound personal satisfaction for individual creators. And yet the origins of creative inspiration and the methods by which great creators tap into it have long been a source of mystery, spoken of in esoteric terms, our rational understanding shrouded in complex jargon. Until now. Inspired is a book about the science of creativity, distilling an explosion of exciting new research from across the world. Through narrative storytelling, Richtel marries these findings with timeless insight from some of the world’s great creators as he deconstructs the authentic nature of creativity, its biological and evolutionary origins, its deep connection to religion and spirituality, the way it bubbles in each of us, urgent and essential, waiting to be tapped. Many of the questions Richtel addresses are practical: What are the traits of successful creators? Under which conditions does creativity thrive? How can we move past creative blocks? The ultimate message of Inspired is that creativity is more accessible than many might imagine, as necessary, beautiful, and fulfilling as any essential part of human nature.

No matter where people live or what their circumstances may be, everyone needs boundless, restorative love. Gorgeous and uplifting, Tattoos on the Heart amply demonstrates the impact unconditional love can have on your life. As a pastor working in a neighborhood with the highest concentration of murderous gang activity in Los Angeles, Gregory Boyle created an organization to provide jobs, job training, and encouragement so that young people could work together and learn the mutual respect that comes from collaboration. Tattoos on the Heart is a breathtaking series of parables distilled from his twenty years in the barrio. Arranged by theme and filled with sparkling humor and glowing generosity, these essays offer a stirring look at how full our lives could be if we could find the joy in loving others and in being loved unconditionally. From giant, tattooed Cesar, shopping at JCPenney fresh out of prison, we learn how to feel worthy of God’s love. From ten-year-old Lula we learn the importance of being known and acknowledged. From Pedro we understand the kind of patience necessary to rescue someone from the darkness. In each chapter we benefit from Boyle’s wonderful, hard-earned wisdom. Inspired by faith but applicable to anyone trying to be good, these personal, unflinching stories are full of surprising revelations and observations of the community in which Boyle works and of the many lives he has helped save. Erudite, down-to-earth, and utterly heartening, these essays about universal kinship and redemption are moving examples of the power of unconditional love in difficult times and the importance of fighting despair. With Gregory Boyle’s guidance, we can recognize our own wounds in the broken lives and daunting struggles of the men and women in these parables and learn to find joy in all of the people around us.
