Mr John Radford receives 27 6s., Mary Smith 9, and Edward Soresby Cox 1 4s. John, who is supposed to have been tin: ancestor of the Montgomery family, gave half the tithes of his demesne in this township, to Tuthury priory. These manors passed from the Montgomery family to the Vernons. The Rowes had a house and estate at Osleston, which passed by marriage to Mr Newell, chancellor of Lincolu, since sold in lots. Long Lane, a few scattered houses, east of Thurvaston.
