Book excerpt: Dans cette étude, nous nous intéressons au développement de la texture de recristallisation de l'invar déformé par laminage asymétrique. Nous caractérisons à différentes échelles la texture et la microstructure du matériau après une réduction d'épaisseur de 83% en utilisant la diffraction des rayons X et des neutrons, la microscopie électronique à balayage associée à la diffraction des électrons rétrodiffusés (Electron Back Scattered Diffraction, EBSD) et la microscopie électronique en transmission. La microstructure de déformation est constituée de bandes lamellaires avec une sous structure de dislocations enchevêtrées. Il n'y a pas de sous structure cellulaire. La texture de laminage est constituée des composantes classiques de laminage. Cependant, dans les cas du laminage asymétrique unidirectionnel, la texture est tournée d'environ 5- r autour de la direction transverse. Après le recuit, les grains sont plus ou moins équiaxes et la texture recristallisée est composée l'orientation cube et de sa macle. Toutefois, l'acuité de la texture cubique est plus grande en laminag asymétrique qu'en laminage symétrique. En ce qui concerne les microstructures, la restauration se trad rralors par la formation d'une sous structure cellulaire. Les grains cubiques restaurent plus vite que les autr orientations et l'accroissement de la différence d'énergie stockée entre l'orientation cube et la matrice no cube. La différence d'énergie stockée devient alors la force motrice pour la formation de germes par 1 mécanisme de migration de joint de grains induit par la déformation (Strain Induced Boundary Migratio SIBM.
