Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Only True God" is the originator of all the languages of the nations of this planet Earth (Genesis 11:1-9). Does He knows the details of Grammar of those languages? How can we define in synthesis whatGrammar is? Does our wise and sovereign God presaw the need of talking to us in our own language? Does He also presaw that His dealing with the human race should be written in a book? Because these are facts that cannot be denied, it is evident He decreed that every word, phrase, sentence, concepts and complete paragraphs written in The Bible should be grammatically correct. The concept of the Three Persons of deity is evidenced with printine clarity, whenever this Book of God is grammatically interpreted. Inthe last night before His crucifixion, in His prayer to the Father, Jesus said: "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. An now, Oh Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." "Me" and "I" explicitly defines two persons!

Book The Entrem s for Performance

Download or read book The Entrem s for Performance written by Kerry Wilks and published by Liverpool University Press. This book was released on 2024-02-29 with total page 417 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This bilingual anthology brings together a collection of Spanish entremeses, the comic interludes that were performed between the acts of a comedia. Penned by authors such as Lope de Rueda, Cervantes, Calderón, Quevedo, and Quiñones de Benavente, many of these plays appear here for the first time in English. Translated for performability, these plays create a panoramic view of one-act plays from Spain’s classical theater period. Presented with discussions of dramaturgical and performance possibilities and difficulties, including relevant historical, cultural, and social information for the plays, the collection opens with two precursors to the entremés, moves through the breadth of the entremés form, and concludes with works from the 18th century, including a sainete. There are also examples of trans-adaptation that show how these works can be interpreted through strong directorial concepts that relocate the plays in historical time and location. The selected titles raise challenges to social mores and expectations, surprise with their humor, and delight with their stagecraft. Whether aimed at the classroom or the stage, the collection is valuable for research, pedagogy, and performance.

Book T tambi n herida rosa

Download or read book T tambi n herida rosa written by Daria Rolland and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2013-01-11 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Dawn of the Senses Selected Poems

Download or read book Dawn of the Senses Selected Poems written by Alberto Blanco and published by City Lights Books. This book was released on 1995-11 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An impressive selection, in bilingual format, from the work of one of Mexico's greatest contemporary writers. Born in Mexico City in 1951, Alberto Blanco is a dynamic and influential voice in the new poetry of Mexico. A musician, artist, essayist, translator, and storyteller, his poetry explores the connections on frontiers between verbal, visual, and aural experience. He is both an innovator and a classicist, a materialist and a mystic, a visionary and a chronicler of everyday life. Here his poems converse with their English translations, to create "a singular book . . . not simply a bilingual edition, but one unified voice, a poetry that speaks of a world far beyond languages and borders." (from the introduction by Jose Emilio Pacheco).

Book Manual Work and Mental Work

Download or read book Manual Work and Mental Work written by Christoph Strosetzki and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-03-10 with total page 273 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Information Text: In the early modern period, numerous texts deal with professions by presenting the knowledge required in each case, individual fields of activity, purpose, origin and prestige. The course of argumentation is humanistic, insofar as it mostly starts from the human being. The ancient idea of the primacy of mental work over manual work is formative here. The importance of Spain results from the fact that the Spanish king Charles V was both emperor and ruler of the colonies in America, i.e. he ruled a world empire by the standards of the time. After discussing some central categories, overall representations of knowledge, professions, and prominent professional representatives are presented. Here, the hierarchization and its relativization by satire is revealing. The mechanical arts and the artes liberales are then presented on the basis of individual professions selected as characteristic examples, each with its own specific knowledge. The higher faculties of medicine, theology and jurisprudence with their representatives form the conclusion.
