Book Control Aids Thru Homoeopathy

Download or read book Control Aids Thru Homoeopathy written by R. K. Kapoor and published by Prabhat Prakashan. This book was released on 2009-01-01 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A case of AIDS is a war, a fierce battle between HIV and the treating physician, a battle that he never dreamt of, and one that he never witnessed. This is manifested by the fact that though the Founder of Homoeopathy Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann wrote six volumes on Organon of Medicine and made various changes yet he did not give instructions to withdraw any of the volume or its section or its aphorism. The author Dr. R.K. Kapoor has tried to take advantage of his thought process. He has endeavored to dig out his hidden treasure but has kept it flexible with the premonition that there may come a time when a disease like AIDS may manifest itself and wipe out a bulk of global population. Homoeopathy has come to the rescue of people. It does not claim at this point of time, to provide a complete cure, as it is in the process of development. However it can pave the way to control AIDS and shower the boon of longevity on its sufferer. The methodology evolves around the idea of how to stop the onward journey of the virus; how to cage it and cripple it. Once it is achieved the physician will have plenty of time for an onward journey to bring out a complete eradication of this deadly disease. Dr. Kapoor has a record of treating millions of acute, chronic, curable and incurables cases successfully in India and abroad. He now desires to convey to the patients of HIV/AIDS that it is unquestionably curable and can be controlled instantaneously with the help of homoeopathic therapeutics.

Book Healing Traditions

  • Author : Bonnie Blair O'Connor
  • Publisher : University of Pennsylvania Press
  • Release : 1995
  • ISBN : 9780812213980
  • Pages : 324 pages

Download or read book Healing Traditions written by Bonnie Blair O'Connor and published by University of Pennsylvania Press. This book was released on 1995 with total page 324 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The popularity and practice of alternative medicine continues to expand at astonishing rates. In Healing Traditions, Bonnie Blair O'Connor considers the conflicts that arise between the values and assumptions of Western, scientific medicine and those of unconventional health systems. Providing in-depth examples of the importance and benefits of alternative health practices--including the extraordinarily extensive and sophisticated HIV/AIDS alternative therapies movement--O'Connor identifies ways to integrate alternative strategies with orthodox medical treatments in order to ensure the best possible care for patients. In spite of the long-standing prediction that, as science and medicine progressed--and education became more generally available--unconventional systems would die out, they have persisted with undiminished vitality. They have, in fact, experienced a reinvigoration and expansion during the last fifteen to twenty years. In the United States, this renewal is fueled by people representing a wide cross-section of American society, and most of them also use conventional medicine. This eclecticism can result in conflicts between the values and assumptions of Western, scientific medicine and those of unconventional health systems. O'Connor demonstrates the importance of understanding how various belief systems interact and how this interaction affects health care. She argues that through neutral observation and thorough description of health belief systems it is possible to gain an understanding of those systems, to identify likely points of conflict among systems--especially conflicts that may occur in conventional care settings--and to intervene in ways that ensure the best possible care for patients.

Book Integrative Gastroenterology

Download or read book Integrative Gastroenterology written by Gerard E. Mullin and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2019-09-27 with total page 464 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Digestive complaints have become increasingly common. Recent statistics show that gastrointestinal complaints account for nearly a third of all visits to primary care doctors and that nearly one in two Americans suffer from digestive disease. Millions more suffer from conditions such as migraine headaches, arthritis, mood disorders, chronic fatigue, asthma, allergies, and menstrual dysfunction, which are all related to a disorder in digestive health. Despite the evidence in support of integrative approaches to treatment and prevention of digestive symptoms, these approaches are largely overlooked in treating gastrointestinal disorders. Rather, treatment plans tend to be exclusively pharmacologically based and have appreciable toxicity. Integrative Gastroenterology, Second edition, is a comprehensive guide to helping health care practitioners understand and appreciate how to manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions integrating conventional and complimentary approaches. This text reviews the latest advances in science and research with regards to the gut microbiome, physiology, and interconnections between the gut and other organ systems. Coverage includes a diverse range of treatment methods, such as probiotics, meditation, massage, yoga, supplements, special diets, energy medicine, homeopathy, and acupuncture, as well as a special section devoted to mind-body medicine in digestive health and disease. In discussing unconventional treatments, the authors address many of the controversies that surround the remedies.
