Book excerpt: Les fautes systèmes peuvent conduire à des conséquences sérieuses pour l'humain, l'environnement et le matériel. Or, y remédier peut s'avérer coûteux voire même dangereux. Ainsi, afin d'éviter ces situations, il est devenu essentiel pour les systèmes complexes modernes de détecter et d'identifier tout changement dans leur fonctionnement nominal avant que cela ne devienne critique. De ce fait, plusieurs méthodes de détection et de diagnostic ont été proposées ou améliorées durant les dernières décennies. Parmi ces méthodes, celles présentant un fort intérêt se basent sur un outil statistique et probabiliste nommé réseau Bayésien. Toutefois, la majorité d'entre elles ne tiennent pas compte du risque de fausse alarme dans leur prise de décision. L'intérêt de cette thèse est alors d'introduire sous réseau Bayésien des limites probabilistes permettant le respect d'un niveau de signification considéré. Plus exactement, nous proposons une modélisation des statistiques quadratiques et les limites leurs correspondant sur réseau Bayésien. Ceci nous permet de généraliser sous réseau Bayésien des schémas de détection de fautes comme par exemple ceux basés sur l'analyse en composantes principale. Cette modélisation nous permet également de proposer une famille de réseaux Bayésiens permettant de faire de la détection et du diagnostic de façon simultanée, tout en tenant compte d'un rejet de distance. Enfin, nous proposons un cadre probabiliste permettant d'unifier les différents réseaux Bayésiens pouvant être utilisés pour la détection ou le diagnostic de fautes.

Il est donc important de mettre en uvre un systeme de gestion des fautes qui tient compte de tous les etats incoherents pouvant etre nuisibles a l'application. Cependant, la mise en place d'un tel systeme de gestion des fautes doit respecter les contraintes de limitation des ressources des capteurs. Ainsi, les travaux existants se focalisent principalement sur certains etats d'incoherence du systeme pour limiter l'utilisation des ressources. Dans ce livre, nous proposons une nouvelle approche globale et generale permettant d'assurer une couverture elargie des fautes tout en maitrisant la consommation des ressources. Pour cela, nous avons propose des solutions de gestion des fautes a trois niveaux: donnees, elements du systeme et services d'application. Finalement, nous avons defini une architecture unique fondee sur l'integration des solutions proposees.

Book excerpt: La complexification des systèmes et la réduction du nombre de capteurs nécessitent l'élaboration de méthodes de surveillance de plus en plus efficaces. Le travail de cette thèse s'inscrit dans ce contexte et porte sur le diagnostic et le pronostic des Systèmes à Événements Discrets (SED) temporisés. Les réseaux de Petri stochastiques partiellement mesurés sont utilisés pour modéliser le système. Le modèle représente à la fois le comportement nominal et le comportement dysfonctionnel du système. Il permet aussi de représenter ses capteurs à travers une mesure partielle des transitions et des places. Notre contribution porte sur l'exploitation de l'information temporelle pour le diagnostic et le pronostic des SED. À partir d'une suite de mesures datées, les comportements du système qui expliqueraient ces mesures sont d'abord déterminés. La probabilité de ces comportements est ensuite évaluée pour fournir un diagnostic du système en termes de probabilité d'occurrence d'un défaut. Dans le cas où une faute est diagnostiquée, une approche permettant d'estimer la distribution de sa date d'occurrence est proposée. L'objectif est de donner plus de détails sur cette faute afin de mieux la caractériser. Par ailleurs, la probabilité des comportements compatibles est exploitée pour estimer l'état actuel du système. Il s'agit de déterminer les marquages compatibles avec les mesures ainsi que leurs probabilités associées. À partir de cette estimation d'état, la prise en considération des évolutions possibles du système permet d'envisager la prédiction de la faute avant son occurrence. Une estimation de la probabilité d'occurrence de la faute sur un horizon de temps futur est ainsi obtenue. Celle-ci est ensuite étendue à l'évaluation de la durée de vie résiduelle du système. Enfin, une application des différentes approches développées sur un cas d'un système de tri est proposée.

Book excerpt: La surveillance des processus est un challenge quotidien pour de nombreuses entreprises, dont l'objectif est de piloter et maîtriser leurs systèmes. Les travaux de cette thèse portent sur la surveillance des processus par les approches multi-échelle, notamment la combinaison de l'analyse par ondelettes et les approches statistiques. Nous avons établi un cadre général de l'utilisation des coefficients d'ondelettes comme un outil de détection et non pas seulement de traitement de données. La distribution statistique des coefficients d'ondelettes (approximations et détails) dans le cadre de l'analyse multi-résolution a été établie théoriquement. Ensuite, nous avons développé de nouveaux outils de détection, notamment des cartes de contrôle pour la détection de changement de moyenne (AJ, OWave, BiWave-T2 et BiWave-MEWMA), la détection de changement de variance (DeWave) et la détection de changement de moyenne et variance (le schéma AJ-DeWave). En outre de certaines équivalences entre les techniques de contrôle statistique et les transformées en ondelettes, nous avons proposé une méthode -CoWave- à base de la transformée en ondelettes continues, afin d'estimer l'instant de changement de moyenne (Isolation de la faute). La technique CoWave est équivalente à l'estimateur de maximum de vraisemblance. Finalement, nous avons mis en exergue les caractéristiques statistiques des coefficients d'ondelettes dans les cas des observations auto-corrélées et non-Gaussiennes.

The breadth of the issues addressed at the conference made clear the need for greatly increased interdisciplinary and international collaboration the survival and sustainability concept. The exchanges at the conference represent a step in this direction.
