Cependant, l'apprentissage de l'écrit serait une aide primordiale pour compenser leur trouble oral. Dans notre étude, nous avons cherché à évaluer les connaissances relatives à la structure du mot et les performances en lecture-écriture chez 19 enfants dysphasiques de type phonologico-syntaxique scolarisés en cycle 3 en comparaison à des enfants au développement normal du langage. Nos trois groupes-contrôle ont été appariés selon leur âge chronologique, leur niveau de lecture et leur niveau de vocabulaire. Nous avons comparé les résultats obtenus par les quatre groupes lors d'épreuves sur le langage écrit et la connaissance du mot. Nous nous sommes intéressées en particulier à trois domaines : la phonologie, la morphologie notamment dérivationnelle et les régularités orthographiques. De nombreuses études ont déjà prouvé le rôle indéniable de la phonologie dans les apprentissages. Nous avons également voulu savoir quels rôles jouent les deux autres domaines, moins étudiés dans la littérature. Selon certains auteurs, ces trois domaines aideraient à la mise en place de l'apprentissage de l'écrit et celui-ci amèneraient ces trois domaines à se développer. Nos résultats montrent que, par rapport à des enfants de même âge chronologique, les enfants dysphasiques de cycle 3 conservent des difficultés en langage écrit. Il ressort également que certaines connaissances de ces enfants ne diffèrent pas significativement de celles du groupe-contrôle lecture. Nos résultats mettent tout de même en avant que les enfants dysphasiques ont des difficultés évidentes en phonologie et en morphologie. Mais en dépit de leur trouble, les enfants dysphasiques développent des connaissances en régularités orthographiques de manière implicite, tout comme les enfants au développement normal du langage.

Le premier objectif de cette recherche était d'examiner le rôle des connaissances phonologiques, morpho-dérivationnelles et orthographiques précoces. Une étude longitudinale conduite de la GSM au CE1 confirme le rôle majeur des habiletés phonologiques, "actuelles" et "antérieures", dans les compétences en reconnaissance de mots écrits des enfants de CP et CE1. Les analyses de régression pas à pas mettent en évidence aussi la contribution de connaissances morphologiques et orthographiques acquises implicitement, ceci après contrôle de la part de variance expliquée par l'âge, l'intelligence non verbale et les niveaux lexical et phonologique des enfants. A chacun des niveaux d'expertise en lecture (CP et CE1), le poids relatif des divers types de connaissances testées varie selon le type d'items à lire (mots ou pseudomots). Ces données sont compatibles avec les modélisations interactives d'apprentissage de la lecture.Le second objectif de ce travail était de caractériser les déficits d'un échantillon d'enfants dysphasiques sur ces différents aspects des connaissances relatives à la structure du mot. Une étude comparative avec des enfants au développement normal du langage appariés en âge lexique (6.9 ans) met en évidence des difficultés spécifiques sur une tâche phonologique ("extraction de syllabes communes") et sur plusieurs tâches morphologiques. Les résultats sont discutés en référence à l'hypothèse d'une limitation des capacités de traitement de l'information et la question d'un développement atypique des connaissances implicites vs explicites est posée.

In Democratizing Innovation, Eric von Hippel looks closely at this emerging system of user-centered innovation. He explains why and when users find it profitable to develop new products and services for themselves, and why it often pays users to reveal their innovations freely for the use of all.The trend toward democratized innovation can be seen in software and information products—most notably in the free and open-source software movement—but also in physical products. Von Hippel's many examples of user innovation in action range from surgical equipment to surfboards to software security features. He shows that product and service development is concentrated among "lead users," who are ahead on marketplace trends and whose innovations are often commercially attractive.
