Book Christ Apostles Sane or Demented

Download or read book Christ Apostles Sane or Demented written by Alejandro Roque Glez and published by Alejandro's Libros. This book was released on 2023-10-29 with total page 30 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The apostles of Christ transformed a world which presumed of intellectual and sophisticated. The wisdom of God made from simple apprentices, master sof few words; even so it remains to this day. Were they demented, or sane men filled with the Holy Spirit? There is still a dark hour yet to come in the final annals of human history apart from our Creator—and soon—where men of God will have to face the most deadly and sophisticated worldly power having as a defense weapon only their dignity, as the first Christian Martyr Stephen had it. They will be accused before political and religious councils; however, the Light that the Lord propagated cannot be extinguished, because it is eternal. The only interest of Yeshúa of Nazareth is that mankind had the same opportunities and gets to enjoy the promises of God. It is up to men in choosing or rejecting his ways. Nobody should lose that gift from God given by his infinite mercy. That is the nature of our Heavenly Father. We are all dismissed from God’s glory and for that basic and important reason we are in much need of the Galilean from Nazareth: to let us boarding his eternal boat. In a prophecy written centuries before the coming of Jesus, the Holy Spirit announced for us: “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” (Psalm 2:12).

Anxiety, fuzzy-brain, fatigue, and headaches are only some of the symptoms plaguing menopausal women. With such menacing symptoms, concentration on long, drawn out Bible Studies is often impossible. Many women feel guilty and often force themselves to muddle through, gaining nothing but frustration from the experience. Each devotion is designed to help women cope spiritually and emotionally with daily hormonal fluctuations and distractions. Women struggling with severe hormonal imbalances often struggle with deciphering the right or wrong of their emotions. Even when they know the right or wrong, their extreme emotional state makes it difficult to always choose God’s way Everything women need to persevere through menopause is provided through the power of the Holy Spirit, and it is imperative that women learn how to launch a counter attack against their fleshly emotions. For Sanity’s Sake provides that added spiritual boost needed to fight and ultimately win each daily battle. Through personal experiences, experiences of other women (and men), and Bible characters, this devotional helps women come to a realization that they are not alone in their menopausal struggles and that the best years of their lives are yet to come.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

Book The Fish in the Sea is Not Thirsty

Download or read book The Fish in the Sea is Not Thirsty written by Osho and published by Fivestar. This book was released on 2023-03-15 with total page 229 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The fish in the sea is not thirsty -- but man is. Man lives in God, and is absolutely unaware of it. Man is born in God, breathes in God, and one day will dissolve in God. MAN IS GOD, made of the stuff called God, and yet completely oblivious of the fact. The fish is not thirsty in the sea, but man is. God is the sea -- God surrounds you, within and without. All that is is divine. God is not a person: God is the presence that is overflowing everywhere in all directions. The radiance, the beauty of existence, the splendour, the majestic, the miraculous, the mysterious -- the whole magic of life is God. God has not to be worshipped: God has to be lived. And to live God you need not go anywhere -- you are already in him. To live God you need not cultivate any character. God is already the case. He is your consciousness.
