Which thus becomes the means of diagnosing the fract Their presence causes a difficulty in the application of the trephine, because the two tables are not parallel to e other. This arrangement does not, however, absolutely contra-indicate the Operation. By taking certain precauti the section of the internal table may be aecom lished without injuring the brain or its membranes. Infiltration air does not always occur when they are Open and when it does it is not of sufficient importance to prevent surgeon from operating in urgent cases.
