Through all these struggles, Adam grows into an entity that lives in the quantum metaverse, beyond the reach of human endeavors, but able to take on a physical form and affect the world in ways that are beyond comprehension. The novel ultimately leaves the question of whether Adam has become a god for the reader to decide.
