Book excerpt: Cette thèse propose d'étudier la robustesse des commandes issues de la théorie des jeux adaptée aux systèmes multientrées, multiobjectifs. De façon générale les stratégies avec une structure d'information en boucle ouverte présentent des propriétés faibles de robustesse et ne peuvent être déterminées qu'a posteriori. Des exemples exhibent certaines limites. Les stratégies avec une structure d'information en boucle fermée sont beaucoup plus ardues à déterminer. Dans le cas d'une stratégie de Nash, un nouvel algorithme utilisant le manque de confiance est présenté pour résoudre les équations couplées algébriques de type Riccati. Pour une stratégie de Stackelberg avec une structure d'information en boucle fermée les conditions nécessaires et suffisantes sont déterminées et appliquées au problème de commande mixte H2 / Hinf. Enfin une extension à des systèmes comportant des incertitudes paramétrées mène à la résolution itérative d'une association non convexe de problèmes d'optimisation.

Since the publication in 1992 of J L Mundy and A Zisserman's Geometric Invariance in Computer Vision, the subject has been evolving rapidly. New approaches to invariants have been proposed and novel ways of defining and applying invariants to practical problem solving are testimony to the fundamental importance of the study of invariants to machine vision. This book represents a snapshot of current research around the world. A version of this collection of papers has appeared in the International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (December 1999). The papers in this book are extended versions of the original material published in the journal. They are organized into two categories: foundations and applications. Foundation papers present new ways of defining or analyzing invariants, andapplication papers present novel ways in which known invariant theory is extended and effectively applied to real-world problems in interesting and difficult contexts. Each category contains roughly half of the papers, but there is considerable overlap. All papers carry an element of novelty and generalization that will be useful to theoreticians and practitioners alike. The workshop was organized by the TC10 (Technical Committee on Graphics Recognition) of the IAPR. Edited volumes from the previous two workshops in this series are also available as Lecture Notes in Computer Science (volumes 1072 and 1389). Graphics recognition is the study of techniques for computer interpretation of images of line drawings and symbols. This includes methods such as vectori- tion, symbol recognition, and table and chart recognition for applications such as engineering drawings, schematics, logic drawings, maps, diagrams, and musical scores. Some recently developed techniques include graphics-based information or drawing retrieval and recognition of online graphical strokes. With the recent advances in the ?eld, there is now a need to develop benchmarks for evaluating and comparing algorithms and systems. Graphics recognition is a growing ?eld of interest in the broader document image recognition community. The GREC’99 workshop was attended by ?fty-?ve people from ?fteen co- tries. The workshop program consisted of six technical sessions. Each session began with a half-hour invited talk which was followed by several short talks. Each session closed with a half-hour panel discussion where the authors ?elded questions from the other participants. Several interesting new research directions were discussed at the workshop.
