In short it was a good trade off. You can even give it away as a gift. In fact, a lot of people bought the Echo Dot as a present for their friends and loved ones. But life wasn''t perfect even for a smart speaker--and that meant challenges to being in first place. This challenge came in the form of the Home Mini from Google.
