Book Alveno Plaisir Arrival of the Ultimate Pleasure

Download or read book Alveno Plaisir Arrival of the Ultimate Pleasure written by Victor Alveno and published by Victor Alveno. This book was released on 2024-02-04 with total page 431 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Welcome to a world where passionate love intertwines modern sexual practices with the wisdom of the ancient east, and desire is ignited by the timeless teachings of the Kama Sutra, Kabazza, Kunyaza, Imsak, The Perfumed Garden, Ananga Ranga, The Pillow Book, Tantra and Tao. This new artful practice “Alveno Plaisir: Arrival of the Ultimate Pleasure," invites you on an intimate journey of sensual exploration, where every caress, every glance, and every touch resonates with profound connection and ecstasy. In the embrace of this modern practice, you and your partner will unlock the secrets to a fulfilling and rapturous intimate life, where pleasure becomes an art and love becomes a moment of forever. The majority of men and women don't know and understand what the female body is capable of. I don't blame them since even experts in the field don't know and understand it. This art and guide will change your world, whether you are a male or female, read and discover ultimate pleasure with this new art, and I promise, you won’t regret it. I've striven for thoroughness without unnecessary embellishments, maintaining a tone reminiscent of the ancient eastern sexual manuals that serve as the foundation for this content. Any perceived stiffness or antiquated feel in my expression is deliberate, aligning with the traditional style inherent in these materials, however, at times a sense of my modern approach. It is a blending of the new and old, thus creating something more impactful for these times. As you turn the pages, the secrets of the ages will unfurl before you, revealing the ancient practices to harmonize an intimate relationship – emotionally, mentally, and physically. Sex in the ancient East was seen as a sacred ritual between husband and wife, for long-term relationships and to satisfy women. Selfish desire is against their practices. Men prioritize female pleasure and women worship the penis. This is the foundation of what Alveno Plaisir teaches, and it is not merely a new practice to physical pleasure; it is a spiritual dance of love, respect, and profound connection. It celebrates the intertwining of bodies and souls, the exploration of touch, and desire. Here, love (heart) becomes a sacred ritual, and pleasure becomes an awakening of the senses (mind) through stimulation of the nerves on the erogenous zones (body). This book is a journey into the depths of intimate discovery, where we explore the unique sensations and experiences that define distinct forms of orgasm. I aim to provide knowledge and insight, empowering individuals to embrace and celebrate the diversity of female pleasure. Female orgasm, in all its manifestations, is a topic of profound importance because it touches upon the core of human relationships, self-discovery, and well-being. Understanding and embracing the full spectrum of female pleasure not only enhances physical intimacy but also fosters emotional connections and self-confidence. It can lead to healthier, more fulfilling relationships and greater personal satisfaction. However, the topic of female ejaculate, squirting, and gushing orgasms has historically been shrouded in mystery and misconceptions. Many cultures and societies have held various beliefs and attitudes towards female sexuality, leading to a wide array of cultural perceptions and taboos. The history of these topics is a fascinating journey that reveals the influence of cultural, societal, and religious norms on sexual expression. Throughout history, there have been societies that revered female pleasure and celebrated the mysteries of the female orgasm. In contrast, others have stifled discussions, imposed shame, and even denied the existence of certain forms of female orgasm. By examining these historical perspectives and cultural perceptions, we gain insights into the evolution of our understanding of female pleasure. In this modern age, where discussions around sexuality have become more open and inclusive, it is essential to break the shackles of old stigmas and misconceptions. This book is dedicated to contributing to this progressive dialogue, dispelling myths, and celebrating the unique experiences that women can have in their sexual lives. We get one chance to experience this life so why not make it the best emotional, mental, and sexual experience we can ever have? Think about your best encounter and imagine, what if there was better? That’s what I offer you. We live in an era of heightened awareness and growing acceptance of the diversity of human sexuality. It is a time where individuals are increasingly seeking information, self-discovery, and open conversations about their sexual experiences. This book is positioned to serve as a resource for individuals, couples, and anyone interested in understanding and achieving a deeper level of intimacy and pleasure. In the following chapters, we will embark on a comprehensive exploration of all thirteen forms of orgasm including the ejaculation orgasms of female ejaculate, squirting, and gushing orgasms. We will delve into the anatomy and physiology behind these experiences, the emotional and psychological aspects that influence them, and the ancient/modern techniques and practices that can lead to heightened pleasure. We will discuss the importance of the mind-body connection, the role of blood flow, pelvic muscles, and the profound sensations associated with different forms of female orgasm. The variety of combined orgasms and the endless possibilities of unique sexual experiences. Our journey through these pages will be one of knowledge, empowerment, and celebration. I invite you to join me on this voyage of exploration and enlightenment, as we uncover the remarkable facets of female pleasure that have long remained in the shadows. It's time to bring these topics into the light and celebrate the beauty and diversity of female orgasms. Book Confessions Commentary on Books 1 7

Download or read book Confessions Commentary on Books 1 7 written by Agustín (Santo, Obispo de Hipona) and published by Oxford University Press, USA. This book was released on 1992 with total page 512 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Confessions of Augustine have long both demanded and eluded the sustained and serious attention to detail that a scholarly commentary can provide. This new work in three volumes is a major new reference in Augustine scholarship. A revised Latin text of the Confessions in Volume I forms the basis for a detailed line-by-line commentary (Volumes II and III) designed to elucidate the many layers of meaning in the work. Extensive quotation and abundant citation of Augustine's own writings, of the scriptural texts that were never far from his mind, and of the works of his intellectual forebears (chief among them Cicero, Plotinus, and Ambrose) are meant to provide one essential context for reading the Confessions. Placing the emphasis primarily on exegesis, O'Donnell opens up new lines of interpretation, and gives a wealth of fresh detail to some more familiar themes. The place of the Confessions in Augustine's own life and in the history of Christian literature is also discussed and illuminated.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How looking beautiful has become a moral imperative in today's worldThe demand to be beautiful is increasingly important in today's visual and virtual culture. Rightly or wrongly, being perfect has become an ethical ideal to live by, and according to which we judge ourselves good or bad, a success or a failure. Perfect Me explores the changing nature of the beauty ideal, showing how it is more dominant, more demanding, and more global than ever before.Heather Widdows argues that our perception of the self is changing. More and more, we locate the self in the body--not just our actual, flawed bodies but our transforming and imagined ones. As this happens, we further embrace the beauty ideal. Nobody is firm enough, thin enough, smooth enough, or buff enough-not without significant effort and cosmetic intervention. And as more demanding practices become the norm, more will be required of us, and the beauty ideal will be harder and harder to resist. If you have ever felt the urge to "make the best of yourself" or worried that you were "letting yourself go," this book explains why. Perfect Me examines how the beauty ideal has come to define how we see ourselves and others and how we structure our daily practices-and how it enthralls us with promises of the good life that are dubious at best. Perfect Me demonstrates that we must first recognize the ethical nature of the beauty ideal if we are ever to address its harms.

Book Plotinus and the Moving Image

Download or read book Plotinus and the Moving Image written by and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2017-11-13 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Plotinus and the Moving Image offers the first philosophical discussion on Plotinus' philosophy and film. It discusses Plotinian concepts like "the One" in a cinematic context and relates Plotinus' theory of time as a transitory intelligible movement of the soul to Bergson’s and Deleuze’s time-image. Film is a unique medium for a rapprochement of our modern consciousness with the thought of Plotinus. The Neoplatonic vestige is particularly worth exploring in the context of the newly emerging “Cinema of Contemplation.” Plotinus' search for the "intelligible" that can be grasped neither by sense perception nor by merely logical abstractions leads to a fluent way of seeing. Parallels that had so far never been discussed are made plausible. This book is a milestone in the philosophy of film. Contributors are: Cameron Barrows, Thorsten Botz-Bornstein, Michelle Phillips Buchberger, Steve Choe, Stephen Clark, Vincenzo Lomuscio, Tony Partridge, Daniel Regnier, Giannis Stamatellos, Enrico Terrone, Sebastian F. Moro Tornese and Panayiota Vassilopoulou.

Book Plato and the Power of Images

Download or read book Plato and the Power of Images written by and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2017-07-20 with total page 251 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Plato is well known both for the harsh condemnations of images and image-making poets that appear in his dialogues and for the vivid and intense imagery that he himself uses in his matchless prose. Through their resemblance to true reality, images have the power to move their viewers to action and to change themselves, but because of their distance from true reality, that power always remains problematic. Two recurrent problems addressed here are how an image resembles what it represents and how to avoid mistaking that image for what it represents. Plato and the Power of Images comprises twelve chapters on the ways Plato has used images, and the ways we could, or should, understand their status as images.

Book Empathy Sociality and Personhood

Download or read book Empathy Sociality and Personhood written by Elisa Magrì and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-03-12 with total page 215 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the phenomenological investigations of Edith Stein by critically contextualising her role within the phenomenological movement and assessing her accounts of empathy, sociality, and personhood. Despite the growing interest that surrounds contemporary research on empathy, Edith Stein’s phenomenological investigations have been largely neglected due to a historical tradition that tends to consider her either as Husserl’s assistant or as a martyr. However, in her phenomenological research, Edith Stein pursued critically the relation between phenomenology and psychology, focusing on the relation between affectivity, subjectivity, and personhood. Alongside phenomenologists like Max Scheler, Kurt Stavenhagen, and Hedwig Conrad-Martius, Stein developed Husserl’s method, incorporating several original modifications that are relevant for philosophy, phenomenology, and ethics. Drawing on recent debates on empathy, emotions, and collective intentionality as well as on original inquiries and interpretations, the collection articulates and develops new perspectives regarding Edith Stein’s phenomenology. The volume includes an appraisal of Stein’s philosophical relation to Edmund Husserl and Max Scheler, and develops further the concepts of empathy, sociality, and personhood. These essays demonstrate the significance of Stein’s phenomenology for contemporary research on intentionality, emotions, and ethics. Gathering together contributions from young researchers and leading scholars in the fields of phenomenology, social ontology, and history of philosophy, this collection provides original views and critical discussions that will be of interest also for social philosophers and moral psychologists.

The volume is divided into three sections: ‘Early Developments in Reception’ (four chapters); ‘Early Imperial Reception’ (nine chapters); and ‘Early Christianity and Late Antique Platonism’ (eighteen chapters). Book Maximus the Confessor as a European Philosopher

Download or read book Maximus the Confessor as a European Philosopher written by Sotiris Mitralexis and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2017-09-18 with total page 367 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The study of Maximus the Confessor’s thought has flourished in recent years: international conferences, publications and articles, new critical editions and translations mark a torrent of interest in the work and influence of perhaps the most sublime of the Byzantine Church Fathers. It has been repeatedly stated that the Confessor’s thought is of eminently philosophical interest. However, no dedicated collective scholarly engagement with Maximus the Confessor as a philosopher has taken place—and this volume attempts to start such a discussion. Apart from Maximus’ relevance and importance for philosophy in general, a second question arises: should towering figures of Byzantine philosophy like Maximus the Confessor be included in an overview of the European history of philosophy, or rather excluded from it—as is the case today with most histories of European philosophy? Maximus’ philosophy challenges our understanding of what European philosophy is. In this volume, we begin to address these issues and examine numerous aspects of Maximus’ philosophy—thereby also stressing the interdisciplinary character of Maximian studies. Contributors include: Fr. Maximos Constas, Justin Shaun Coyle, Vladimir Cvetković, Natalie Depraz, Demetrios Harper, Michael Harrington, Georgi Kapriev, Karolina Kochańczyk-Bonińska, Nicholas Loudovikos, Andrew Louth, John Panteleimon Manoussakis, Michail Mantzanas, Smilen Markov, Sotiris Mitralexis, Marcin Podbielski, Dionysios Skliris, Georgios Steiris, Stoyan Tanev, Torstein Theodor Tollefsen, Jordan Daniel Wood

Book Plato and Plotinus on Mysticism Epistemology and Ethics

Download or read book Plato and Plotinus on Mysticism Epistemology and Ethics written by David J. Yount and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2017-02-23 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book argues against the common view that there are no essential differences between Plato and the Neoplatonist philosopher, Plotinus, on the issues of mysticism, epistemology, and ethics. Beginning by examining the ways in which Plato and Plotinus claim that it is possible to have an ultimate experience that answers the most significant philosophical questions, David J. Yount provides an extended analysis of why we should interpret both philosophers as mystics. The book then moves on to demonstrate that both philosophers share a belief in non-discursive knowledge and the methods to attain it, including dialectic and recollection, and shows that they do not essentially differ on any significant views on ethics. Making extensive use of primary and secondary sources, Plato and Plotinus on Mysticism, Epistemology and Ethics shows the similarities between the thought of these two philosophers on a variety of philosophical questions, such as meditation, divination, wisdom, knowledge, truth, happiness and love.

Book Mortal and Divine in Early Greek Epistemology

Download or read book Mortal and Divine in Early Greek Epistemology written by Shaul Tor and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2017-10-12 with total page 421 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book demonstrates that we need not choose between seeing so-called Presocratic thinkers as rational philosophers or as religious sages. In particular, it rethinks fundamentally the emergence of systematic epistemology and reflection on speculative inquiry in Hesiod, Xenophanes and Parmenides. Shaul Tor argues that different forms of reasoning, and different models of divine disclosure, play equally integral, harmonious and mutually illuminating roles in early Greek epistemology. Throughout, the book relates these thinkers to their religious, literary and historical surroundings. It is thus also, and inseparably, a study of poetic inspiration, divination, mystery initiation, metempsychosis and other early Greek attitudes to the relations and interactions between mortal and divine. The engagements of early philosophers with such religious attitudes present us with complex combinations of criticisms and creative appropriations. Indeed, the early milestones of philosophical epistemology studied here themselves reflect an essentially theological enterprise and, as such, one aspect of Greek religion.

Of his fast and unusual thriller Jack Webb writes: “The Big Sin was written because I needed faith in myself. So I wrote a story about faith … For all the gaudiness my story may wear as a mystery filled with violence, good is good in it, and bad, bad, ant there’s strength enough in the simply faith within to swing the outcome.” Father Shanley refused to believe that Rose had committed the big sin.
