The degree of anisotropy in the angular distribution of secondary particles can be characterized by adjusting the coefficient in the assumed distribution to the observed distribution. The limits of error of energy and anisotropy estimates are discussed. The statistical test of Kolmogorov and Smirnov is used. (W.D.M.).
