He was married to Eunice Louisa James (1822-1896), the daughter of Rodman James and Margaret Stringer ca. 1842. She was born in Plainfield, Ct. Family members live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
