Mir wurde auch klar, dass das Zeichnen und Malen der Illustrationen dieser alten Tempel eine ebenso reizvolle wie herausfordernde Erfahrung ist. In diesem Buch lernst du anhand von Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen, zehn Illustrationen von verschiedenen Tempeln in Kambodscha mit Stift, Tinte und Aquarellfarbe zu zeichnen und zu malen. Alle Illustrationen verwenden die Referenzfotos, die ich beim Besuch der Tempel aufgenommen habe. Jede Anleitung beschreibt den Denkprozess und die Umsetzung jedes einzelnen Schrittes. Wo immer es notwendig war, habe ich kompositorische Überlegungen und Perspektiven, verwendete Materialien usw. beschrieben.
