The average participant spends approximately 30 nights per year in hotels basing this survey on 365,000 hotel room nights per year, or 1000 visits per night. For each of the places listed in this book there were, on average, 165 surveyors. The participants are equally divided between men and women with 41% in the 20s and 30s and 59% are 40 and over.
